Certainly not if someone hasn't back up sperm or finished with having a female. However, estrogen can be amazing for depression and OCD, especially sexual OCD.

There's no magic bullet. Probably very few report back for whom it did not work, just like with the estriol people who usually use stacks of 20 meds, lol. Bica isn't known to be better for hair than spironolactone or CPA. Any of those three will have positive hair effects but maybe the new guys should read this entire thread. Most of it is about @bridgeburn but there used to be a lot of whining on here and there were more people, female and male reporting back then. Still, very few pictures do I recall except by Bridge and Noah.

Remember that @bridgeburn started before Rob Winter had even verified that the HRT route could completely work. I posted that article yesterday above and it is seminal. Rob is great because he explain in common terms and no with terms like "uncorrelated shaft extension" that make the medical pubs tiresome.

It's not a disease. Elisha the prophet in the Old Testament was completely bald and he called down she-bears to kill youths who teased him about his bald head. Apparently Elisha's miracles were limited to things besides the growth of hair.
Apes and monkeys suffer from things akin to baldness but with vellus hair that is more prominent. Baldness for whites is completely natural and normal and it does in fact, probably indicate virility to a certain extent. It could be that baldness is for females to be able to find the most manly guys easily. Everything is reversed now because men's physical strength and even fertility with IVF don't matter anymore. Few of us serve in the military where bald haircuts were often required.
Loggers, miners, mill workers, quarry men, farmers all required great strength and most women probably just accepted baldness in males as the same thing as beards as a secondary sexual trait. That's why bodybuilding can impress some females more than hair as can frankly package size. St. Paul states that hair was given to women, not men. Now I don't believe what he says about pretty much anything but the notion was strong even in Roman times. Several Roman emperors and Caesar himself were bald.
The real issue is that baldness is also strongly correlated with age as the kids said to Elisha remarks that made fun of him being old and bald. It's a ridiculous over-reaction by Elisa that fundamentalists try to defend just like the murder of children in Jericho. Of course, I worship Goddess. Here's the text:

I look forward to the day where I no longer have the impulse to be conscious of my hair nearly every waking moment. It would be nice to eventually be able to afford a transplant, but until that day comes at least it's giving me a chance to figure out what I can maintain on. It would also be nice to perhaps get the regrowth I desire in the process so that I don't have to even worry about a transplant; but I accept that I have limited control over these things. The positive thing is that I know I'm doing all that I can right now to work on the problem, so that does bring some peace of mind.

Estrogel is a .06% concentration of E2
Non-pharma otc estradiol creams are usually made at .01% concentration although there are higher concentration otc creams available if you hunt around a bit.
So what's the average dose with that then? 2mg? 6mg?

There's a small operation in Brazil that will provide gel versions of estrogel at various strengths for about half the price. She takes money orders and paypal. It's on my list of providers.

Nobody knows and here's why. Estrogel is absorbed much more readily through genital skin of both sexes. So it should provide say five times the estrogen levels that usage on the wrists might. In terms of scalp application, would using six times as much of Biestro be equal to Estrogel? Probably not but they do have an Estradiol OTC version.
Do both parenteral and systemic estrogen regrow hair? Yes but estrogel on the scalp might fight spontaneous DHT synthesis and reduce inflammation in the longer-term. Also, going with something weaker but using it longer might be just as good and avoid sheds. I have never bothered to measure gel or cream dosages. Also for those seeking something more radical, there is Premarin cream available offshore and via prescription that lacks the negative effects most likely on the liver. Ethinyl estradiol and Conjugated Equine Estrogens might work better for both breast development and hair regrowth.
Bridge was adamant about using the mirror method which I also used mostly. But for guys like him and MtF's, you probably can slather away. I am still trying to determine risk factors for cis-females as MtF's rarely get either prostate or breast cancer so this is supremely healthy for MtF's but it might increase breast cancer risk for cis-gals.
