From my knowledge it needs to pass the liver/digestive system to make it work, ie. Spironolactone. We actually as well dont know if Bicalutamide's metabolites are active, it's unknown. More so it's molecule size is small, so it gets into the blood stream, even if you apply it to the skin, I think pushing it into your *** makes no difference lol. But anyways thats just all broscience.Anti Androgens are taxing to the liver and may cause damage when used for long periods of time. Using suppositories bypasses the liver, and also achieves total bioavailability. For long term usage it may be beneficial to use these drugs as a suppository. I'm worried about the health of my liver as I'm constantly thirsty, even more so on days when I take meds, does anyone know if bicalutamide/finasteride/dutasteide would work as a suppository?
And yes! Anti androgens are unhealthy!!! The healthiest is Estrogen, in the end.
