I am thinking of getting an orchiectomy in a few years... I was watching some videos of men who accept balding, and it made me fearful. I don't want to ever be bald; an orchiectomy might be my personal cure to hair loss, without needing to constantly burden my body with anti-androgens. It's probably a risky procedure, but I hate androgens! :(
The only thing that concerns me is that if you ever end up in a situation where you cannot get hormones, like getting lost in the wild, or a nuclear fallout.. then you'll basically go through menopause (and not having much sex hormones will make our brain suffer and increase Alzheimers risk).

I would resort to drinking horse urine... :( I am that desperate!

there are some things you can do, Im learning if you ever can't get hormones..

Calorie restriction reduces sex hormone produces while at the same time raises SHBG.

Licorice and spearmint tea also lower androgens.

" glycyrrhizic acid was tested on human subjects. In a study where seven healthy male subjects were given 7g/day of licorice through commercially available candy tablets (containing 0,5 grams of glycyrrhizic acid). Four days into the study and the subjects total testosterone levels had decreased from 740 ng/dL to 484 ng/dL10

In other words, their testosterone levels were almost half of what they were before popping the licorice pills.

Good news is that 4 days after discontinuation of the licorice-habit, their testosterone levels had returned back to baseline." (its not good news to me obviously, Im just quoting)

and there was a man who increased estradiol by drinking 4 quarts of soy milk per day.

alcohol can also lower T

I can't believe I went from being too scared to take finasteride because of side effects to wanting to get surgically castrated, within six months...

I'm easing off CPA slowly over the next 2-4 weeks since I'm on Bical 50mg now, i still have a ton of CPA lol idk what do do with it, maybe just throw it away? Or hide it somewhere incase of lack of Bicaludamide.
You know that bika will increase testosterone but at the same time transfuse it into estradiol. But both hormones will be exceeded, but androgen receptors will be disabled, but both testosterone and estrogen are exceeded. how much I know the safest for today is CPA and spironolactone

There should be one major hormone in the body!

for about 50 years, spironolactone and cpa have been used for transgender and also treatment of baldness in women.

I’m back on spironolactone now. Shesalady just lied about when they’d have bica back on stock. I could’ve orderEd it from in-house and I would’ve arrived this week. I am on 100mg. I intend to stay on this dose and use 25mg of bica when it comes and see where that takes me

What you say may be true. I've been taking spironolactone for 8 days now and during 1st 7 days I didn't think about sex or even masturbation, but today I had morning Wood and strong libido thereafter. Of course, I got terrible itching and oil/sebum as well. Telling this because it works at receptor level ; what is does to testosterone varies from person to person: in some it tanks T while in some it instead increases T.
It means your body has made an adjustment with spironolactone. 100 mg would do nothing except for improving your skin quality. However, a 19-year-old should not take a high dose of anti-androgen.

That does happen... Sometimes they have issues with getting their AAs in stock, in which it can take longer. You should order it from IHP for now.

Мир жесток, а люди жестоки из-за андрогенов. Война, убийство, насилие - все из-за андрогенов! Эстрогены дают добро, андрогены злые и лысые!

A 19-year-old should not be balding either :).

I started with 150mg and now have upped to 200mg. I think it should work well.
Skin quality - I'll take it

Hi Ikarus. I know it can have harsh effects due to it being diuretic, but there are persons like jgray, Americanhairlines, Alltge above, Audoyle etc who have taken it for years and most of them had only one side - less libido. But, of course, since everyone is different, I should be ready for sides.

My last resort will likely be Bicalutamide. I can't get a hair transplant since I'm losing all over the scalp.

BTW, could you please change you DP..?

spironolactone at a higher dose would undoubtedly work for you since your are very young, but you have to deal with sides. Don't commit yourself to bicalutamide for the reasons @KSA told you.

Yes.. That's why I'm going with Spironolactone. With only 30% density left now, I was compelled to take the gamble, which will have undesirable consequences. I remember KSA’s advice; but I don't know why he's is giving me so many dislikes? (Another reason I took spironolactone is that I have very high libido idk why. And being single, I don't like it at all.)

I’m 5’7 and 130lbs. 200mg of spironolactone was too much for me. It was weaker for me at 300mg than it was at 200mg - so it’s not even a very predictable drug either IMO. I wouldn’t take more than 100-150mg were I you. It’s simply untrue that 100mg will improve your skin, but not hair - that’s anecdotal. Again - results and impact depend on androgen sensitivity and androgen bioavailability. spironolactone was not my favourite, but honestly flutamide and bicalutamide aren’t either because unlike Ikarus you’re not lowering your androgens while you’re on Bica with oestrogen, and that disconnect may prove problematic one day. I would honestly advise you to consider finasteride, dutasteride, spironolactone, Cypro, Flutamide/bic, add estrogen - in this order if you want my opinion. Also, you need to manage your expectations. You will certainly have regrowth since you started losing hair recently, BUT that regrowth will not show up over night.
