Haha yesss i know, i was absolutely thrilled with excitement when i stumbled upon this thread, after i got done reading the 200 something pages it felt like a huge weight that was crushing me was finally lifted and i could breathe for the first time in years, i thought to myself, am i insane to go this far? And after a day of thinking about it i just said screw it, i want to feel alive again, and boy do i feel alive, its not even about the hair alone anymore, taking estrogen has made me whole as a person and i am in love with the way that i feel now, i can feel everything and fully absorb the beauty of life for the first time ever and it feels amazing, i literally shed tears because i feel so good now.

sh*t that sounds spiritual af, I honestly can’t wait for my shipment to arrive I only wish I had discovered the thread sooner so I hadn’t wasted this summer moping around like a sadboi hahaha.

I remember starting with high AA doses and really low amounts of estrogen, I tried to resist increasing it too much but couldn't. now I'm an estrogen junkie

iam actually considering a pellet therapy (chip implantation that produce estrogen for long term use)
can you go through an airport metal detector with that? lol

not sure lol, i dnt think it is made of metal but still, i hate the pills hormonal roller coaster, pellet and injections are easier for long term use that if you are planning to take E for the rest of your life or maybe we will jut need ovaries implantation, how about that?

lions go bald when they are castrated, poor lion no balls and no hair

View attachment 123826

This video relates to my story and why I'm here. At the ripe old age of 22, I decided to get a vasectomy. Six months after the procedure, my prostate had swollen, restricting my bladder. I began having night sweats, short term memory problems, my hair began falling out and a complete loss of libido. It completely wrecked who I was. Not just in a physical sense but my mentality and acuity were gone.

It took me 4 years to balance myself, although I still suffer from hair loss, occasional prostate issues and short term memory.

DO NOT EVER GET A VASECTOMY

DHEAS levels also significantly decreased after 6 and 9 months of therapy with CPA + E. SHBG increased significantly during treatment with CPA + E. We concluded that both drugs are effective and well tolerated, but CPA + E seems to be more effective than the 5-alpha reductase inhibitor finasteride, with long-term treatment of pregnant women. Diana is also a cost effective drug.

vasectomy is bad, but if you have got full castration, you could have adjusted what hormones you would like to be on, some eunuch chose to go on high dose of testosterone and they feel way better than average men because synthetic testosterone is very anabolic but not necessary androgenic this means that they can function at the their peak potential as males even in older age, or you can chose the estrogen route and save your hair, my point here is that once you are castrated you will have the freedom of chose and you can manipulate your hormones as much as you want, you can be a 50 yro man with a hormonal profile of a 19 yro male, or you could switch to estrogen and reverse aging with it, it is a biohack i love it

Hirsutism, acne, alopecia and oligomenorrhea are the clinical manifestations of hyperandrogenism, one of the most frequent endocrine disorders in women of reproductive age. Women who applied to our endocrine clinics for skin symptoms of hyperandrogenism underwent laboratory tests to evaluate hormonal measurements and received anti-androgen therapy. We retrospectively analyzed the results of 228 consecutive patients studied for 6 years. Patients with hirsutism had higher levels of androstenedione, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) and salivary testosterone; lower levels of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG); and higher prevalence of oligoamenorrhea than in patients with alopecia, while patients with acne had intermediate values. Hirsutism positively correlated with androstenedione, DHEAS and testosterone.

A full castration would have far greater long term implications. If you examine anyone who has taken HRT (including myself) it changes your physiology, behavior and most importantly your perceptions. If you enjoy who you are but want to simply regrow your hair, you walk a fine line of sacrifice by taking HRT. Most folks on here who plunged into the abyss of HRT are not who they used to be, and not in a negative outlook. They appear happy and I enjoy their contributions. It's just not for me.... yet.

Thank you for sharing this and hopefully I've steered some folks away form getting a vasectomy.

Something else worth mentioning; if you're a man interested in being infertile/not wanting to have kids, checkout papaya seed powder. It's a natural contraceptive that halts sperm reproduction without affecting your testosterone levels.

I have been studying the hair follicle for 8 years now and tried various 25 + regimens including dermarolling, massaging, healthy diet, whacky supplements, castor oil, onion juice, laser helmet, elipta alba, seagals solution, powdered drinks, etc. pretty much the WHOLE enchilada (except for drugs and surgeries. Trying to take the natural route if one exists).
this sounds similar to how I used to be lol.

So why isn't more research and studies done to test which natural compounds can mimic estrogen beta?
probably similar to how women are traditionally thought of as inferior, the media tends to glorify testosterone and talk sh*t about estrogen.. Usually, estrogen is unfairly criticized based on studies regarding its combination with synthetic progestins or the type of estrogens extracted from horse piss..

and maybe society doesn't want people to realize that hormones actually do the powerful things that they do, or else it might give a modicum of validation to transgender people. something related to a touchy political subject is prone to be avoided.

the common image being that transpeople are all feminine promiscious gay guys who have fake boobs and surgeries.. (and transmen don't exist)

Another reason is likely residual religious elements which linger in our culture.. Men are not supposed to use estrogen or anything estrogenic or even want to.. and the behavior of men in particular is more restricted. If a women has metallica on her ipod its normal, if she has celine dion or sappy love songs its also normal. If a man has the former , he might get made fun of.

If a women isn't weak, good for her she's strong and independent, If a women is weak, its cute. If a man is weak he's a pussy.

I think i've said this before somewhere in the massive thread? but if so I'll say it again.
Men are not allowed to care about vanity in anyway except muscles.. Women wear makeup, fake eyelashes, get peach fuzz removed, shave thier legs, shape thier eyebrows and all kinds of riddiculous fake sh*t but sure, men are vain if they care about a part of thier body literally f*****g dying. Even men on this hairloss forumn occasionally come onto this thread freaking out and calling us psychotic.

Not many with credentials gives a sh*t that we are losing hair.. The only 2 FDA approved medications against hairloss, finasteride and min were discovered by accident while being used to treat something else...

and the research into estrogen and hair usually encourages the use of creating new estrogens which are acceptable for men to take.. but ain't nobody got time for that.
men often feel wrong or that they are not allowed to take real estrogen until they find this thread.

Bridgeburn - you seem to have concrete experience with this solution. I always wonder what if you only took estrogen and nothing else?
probably it would have regrown alot because high amounts of E alone can lower testosterone into castration range, and estradiol inhibits 5ar to a small extant (but not nearly as much as finasteride/dutasteride), it also increases SHBG which could help mop up some DHT (at least in the bloodstream).. But i believe more is necessary for maximum results and it works synergistically. a 5ar inhibitor is important because the follicles produce 5ar themselves, and its possible to have high androgenic activity in specific locations regardless of the overall system becasue of enzymes.

Particularly the temples need, absolutely need, to have everything thrown at them together in order to have a chance of recovering, ie. receptor blockers plus estrogen plus dutasteride plus progesterone plus minoxidil, maybe some dermaneedling too.. even then its not guareenteed

both types of estrogen has pros and cons thats why I use some of Diane but not alot to try to get the pros of both.. Ethynl Estradiol is stronger on the estrogen receptor, but according to one study it doesn't reduce 5ar but estradiol does. And also EE greatly elevates SHBG, more than estradiol, which I want high, but not too high.

In the research they write that it reduces dheas and increases Db 35 shbg which includes ethinyl estradiol, thanks to him the predecessor of androgen dheas decreases and the shbg hormone increases.
