Damn I wish I could find a dermatologist that I could actually rely on but there seems to be a massive absence where I’m at; just “hair doctors” who will give you a slap and a month of Finasteride. I also hate the thought of spending £200 on a consultation just to be told some information they’ve plucked from the first Google result urghhh,,,

Also I’m being taunted now, the estradiol arrived a week early but I can’t even use it until the bicalutamide comes too and who knows when that’ll be

strangelyView attachment 125050 enough, woman are still hot when bald, i think skin is more important lol
While she doesn't look hideous being bald...She'd look better with hair.
Even a low buzzcut would work wonders for framing her face.

Slick Bald never helps anyone look better. At best, you'll look the same, or worse.

I saw a 'hair doctor' too, and she was the dumbest b**ch to exist. I just started crying in the consultation because I was overwhelmed; I waited five months just to be told that they couldn't prescribe anything. It was a disaster... My dermatologist thought highly of this 'hair specialist' but after I told her about my experience, I have great doubts that she will refer anyone there again. Nonetheless, my dermatologist prescribed me spironolactone a couple of weeks before visiting the hair specialist. I requested it once, and she agreed. Since I also requested CPA at the time, she referred me to an endocrinologist who is great. Both, my endocrinologist and dermatologist, are trying their best to get me bicalutamide prescribed. My dermatologist managed to prescribe me dutasteride, which was great...

Where did you order the bicalutamide from?

Is that the hair specialist that told you to eat avocados? lol

That was my dermatologist. Looking back, the whole avocado situation could have been my fault because I was persistent on believing that I had telogen effluvium. Although, I'm not sure since she did say that 'finasteride is the best hair loss medication' which is evidently a crock of sh*t...

Yeah see that seems ideal to have both a dermatologist and endocrinologist who understand your position; every derm I seem to ask just dismisses it as a concern because they only care about skin problems and I have a feeling that the big commercial hair doctor in the city won’t do sh*t.

I got the first 3 months from in-house but I’m gonna place an order for Shesalady to stockpile; to be fair in-house were great at shipping the estradiol it arrived after a week when it’s usually 14-21 days but I have a feeling the bicalutamide is being held hostage at customs.

I have Bicalutamide left... if anyone is interested. And some boxes of Dutasteride and Avodart. Don’t know the prices.

£200 for a *consultation* which does not include the price of any blood tests or medications that would be needed, so yeah it’s perfectly possible that you would walk out £200 lighter with the insight that “Finasteride will never fail”.

We do get free healthcare but lmfao good luck being seen for hair loss on the NHS.

The UK is one of the trashiest countries in the world... Although there is free healthcare, it's censored and restricted. Most of the time, you have to wait months upon months to be seen by a doctor. And even then, the medications they can prescribe has to be under the NHS. Male hair loss isn't covered under the NHS, so you have to purchase finasteride from another source nonetheless. People praise a free healthcare system, but it's not as great as it seems.

I have a useful question for all the lurkers. Can we talk about weight gain on the stronger AAs? I was always thin, but when I dropped flut, my face, butt, belly, upper arms, thighs and chest melted off in like a few weeks. Now granted I had a t level of like 1700ng/dl and DHT 990 when I came off Flutamide so my abs burst through my stomach too with zero effort at the gym. Was a traumatising experience dropping it over night but weaning off would have made no difference since the partial receptor blockage was pretty useless. This rapid weight loss was the only bit I appreciated. I am currently only on Finasteride as a detox and not thrilled about the never ending shed, but I am still recovering from the Flutamide withdrawal, considering Avodart, and CPA.
Also - I would be real grateful if someone could DM re: Avodart experiences. I am scared it’ll exacerbate my situation but on paper it seems so brilliant?

I have 'weight gain' to some extent, although it mainly appears like feminisation. I have a larger butt, along with larger thighs.

Thanks man. What I like here in this thread is that people here aren't coping - they're taking the plunge in their hand, espousing the sides and enjoying their life the way they want to without cribbing about how hair loss make them suicidal while even afraid to take Finasteride.

why can't you use it?? the sooner the better

Because I wanna time it so that I start taking both the estradiol and bicalutamide at the same time for stock consistency reasons and because they both have a synergetic effect. I’m not sure if duta and estradiol alone would do much haha.

If you're taking anything over 50mg spironolactone, you will have great hair in just upcoming 6 months. Bicalutamide, duta and spironolactone and you have all the major bases covered.
why are you so sure of spironolactone?

You can see my reply to Reis some 4-5 pages ago wherein I've written with proofs how it acts on aspects other than DHT and T. Moreover, I've not seen anyone (male, tried 200mg+, for at least 9 months) on this site who has not gotten results.
