Thanks @Ikarus, so if i do it, my temples come back? Now i am using hyrocortisone cream on my temples but i dont sure ıts work

Oh, for your hair? I thought you meant for your skin, oops... If it’s for your temples, you should use tretinoin at 0.025% and apply the same rules. I’m not sure on how effective it actually is, though.

A doubt

If you apply once a week, Estrogel

What are your chances of growing hair? and feminizing effect, would it be very high?

since it would only be used once a week

Hrt is tempting. @bridgeburn @Ikarus s if i where to obtain estrogen, would it do anything for my hair, without nuking my T completly? I'm taking Big 3, finasteride is relativly mild AA, so will a daily dose of 2mg. Estrogen do anything for my hair?

There's a case study in which estrogen monotherapy produced hair growth for an MTF patient. 2mg is pretty low, but it should still lower your T (without nuking it) and consequently your available androgens for conversion to DHT. Since you'd be taking with finasteride too, that theoretically would have less DHT to bind to and thus could be more effective. But it's all a YYMV sort of thing.

Alright, thanks for answering. In Denmark, where i live, it would be almost impossible to get a pescription for estrogen. I will have to find a way to obtain it online. DI you know of any online pharmacy's that might be shipping to Denmark?

You can order it from shesalady; I order from there, and it’s excellent. You should use bicalutamide plus estradiol, it won’t nuke your testosterone but bicalutamide will block the remaining. When I had my blood test, my testosterone was 136 ng/dL with estradiol and bicalutamide. And my LH was still within normal boundaries for a male.

Another quistion - if i went on 2mg estradiol a day for lets say year and saw regrowth. Then i would like to cycle off - is it possible to maintain gains with Finasteride or dutasteride?
@Ikarus @bridgeburn @keepcoolmybabies
That's the million dollar question. In theory, if estrogen produces hair growth, then it could potentially be kept as long as androgens remain diminished to prevent resuming male pattern baldness. Your T would obviously raise back up a bit upon ceasing estradiol. But as long as dutasteride/finasteride prevents DHT binding it might not matter about the increased T at that point.

Yeah, exactly my thought. But thats in theory, right? We don't got anything to back this up with. I'm just worried if regrowth occurs, and the regrowth is estrogen-dependent.

Yep, just in theory. Not sure how many people have attempted estradiol for a time and then stopped but remained on finasteride/dutasteride.

Back in early July I came to my senses that Propecia 1mg after 14years didn't cut it. New job new location put a dent to my stress levels and started to see in the mirror the inevitable. So I took action. I used to believe that something like Finesteride would get me going forever thanks to most doctors recommendations out there. I went to the no regret route of HRT because just looking around me it seemed the one that would max the outcome in the hair department.

My daily regimen:
Estrogel 1.25 morning and night on temples
Cypro 25mg lunch time
minoxidil 5mg lunch time
spironolactone 100mg morning and evening
Duta 0.5mg morning
Finest 1mg night
Topical minoxidil morning and night
3ml RU night (10%) with PG solution
1ml CB morning in Stenox solution (10%)

Will switch to Buca 50mg to replace Cypro & spironolactone soon

Shampoo:
Kera 2% every other day alternate with Regepure

Vitamins (daily):
Biotine 10K
D 15k
E
Collagen peptides
MSM 1 tbsp mixed with C
Omega 3 & 6

Diet
No sugar !!! I miss chocolate but replaced with pure cocoa
No alcohol
No tobacco
No processed foods
Lots of vegetables and seafood
Steak once a week
Flaxseed in the morning
Walnuts
Onions
Everything organic and screened for no additives
Always searching for better diet with Vietnamese and Korean meals

Exercise
Rowing 30 minutes a day (just cardio no weights)
Mediation 10 minutes on the train twice a day as stress hormones reliever

Maintenance
Dermarolling once a week 1.5mm with Derminator2 want to try daily. Never skip minoxidil
Brushing the scalp
Massaging the scalp to increase blood flow

Misc
Tretinoid on hairline and forehead to thin skin every other day
Exfoliate the scalp with some Tokyo product
Progesterone cream (8 pumps) once a day on full upper body

Things I dropped because they didn't work
Laser helmet
Hair maintenance pills
PRP

Side effects
I lost 30kg in 2 months. For 210lbs I am now at 180. Can fit in clothes I couldn't wear for last 15 years when I was a gym rat.
Feminization with hips and no more beer guts
Gyno is coming (nipples are sour)
Softer skin
No acne
Libido is down but taking Cialus on weekends and switched to other positions

Results
So far so good. I like what I am getting.

That's a very extensive regimen! As for lazy old me, I just spend 10 seconds popping a dutasteride pill each evening.

Almost three months I've been on this regimen.
On the 25th of this month, it will be 3 months.

I'm heading to a Norwood 5 or 6 and I performed two hair transplants 9 years ago with a top hair specialist surgeon DR. Patrick Mwamba (Belgium) and with Dr Cinik in Turkey.

But I have always had a lot of hair loss and the results of these transplants were not very good.

Today, I can say that this regimen saves my life. I see a lot of regrowth at only 2 and a half months.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures
, I take them with a phone. For the moment I only show my left temple.

I was already taking minoxidil topic and duta (Avodart for almost 3 years).

Thank you so much for your thread @bridgeburn

My current regimen:
- 10 mg Minoxidil (oral) daily
- 2mg Estrofem every day
- 1.5ml Estrogel every other day
- 0.5 mg Duta (Avodart) daily
- 25 mg cypro (Androcur) daily.

On June 25th, I start this regimen.

Congrats, looking good.

I've been slick/shiny bald on my temples since ~1996. Amazingly over the past few months im starting to see terminal hairs in this area again :). Sloooow progress though.
(I'm using a similar regimen to you)
Just up the oral minoxidil dose to 20-30mg/day if you don't care about a hairy body.
