Testosterone only rises because there's nowhere for it to go.
So it’s possible that bicalutmide not block the all ar in the scalp and testosterone go to ar in the scalp as a dht that come from the another ar that bic not block.?

Why take bicalutmide with finasteride or dutas or e2?
Bicalutmide isnt enough?
Tbh I'm going to drop the Finasteride, it's probably only over-complicating things and I've read that Finasteride increases T which will make Bicalutamides job harder. Bica should be strong enough on its own and if not then it will be once I add 2mg E. Estrogen seems be a lot better for regrowth than Fina..

If your testosterone gets too high then yes I think so?

How have your results been @Ikarus ? My scalp has been quite itchy for the past few days with what I'm taking, maybe I should drop the finasteride and see if that's the cause, lots of people report having that on Fina, and replace
it with 2mg estrogen for better growth and to help lower the t so bica works better.

My starting point was severe, and I did expect it to take longer so instead I just added oral minoxidil. However, I am happy with the progress, but the density isn’t full yet

If he dies, I die. We made a pact, I cannot break it !
But if I had accepted my baldness I wouldn't be here ... in pain with no cure.
The reason I lost my hair ... it's because I listened to him, yeah ... but I couldn't imagine in 2010 that Dutasteride would destroy me and Lupron would be the perfect cure ... for 90% of people it makes no sense.
What's happening to me is very uncommon, that's why almost nobody believes me when I explain my situation (androgen receptors overexpression). So I listened to my BF not because I was blind (love) but because it seemed to be safer.
What is Lupron??
Is the same as cypo??

Scalp itching has gone since taking out Finasteride so now I'm only on 50mg Bica. Ordered 100mcg patches that are the equivalent of 2mg estradiol a day, now I wonder if adding low dose cypro (6mg?) would be beneficial or just overkill?

I think adding the low dose of Cypro can bring some use, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessary

Happy to report some regrowth on temples,
Vellous hairs are slowly going terminal, some even 2 hair follicles becoming more visible. Happening slow but nice to see some progress. Its not cosmetic significant yet but if all vellous will thicken ill have my old hairline back. I also have thicker hair on forehead and around ears lol.

Still on 0.5 duta 2x per week and fina 2.5mg daily+ supplements.
Also topical Min15% and 1mg fina+ topical spironolactone.
Thinking of adding 2.5-5mg oral minoxidil soon and 100mg spironolactone daily to start on an AA to accelerate regrowth.

what is the best type of estradiol to try? @Ikarus @keepcoolmybabies @Deacr4

I am 19 I have been on bicalutamide 100mg and dutasteride 0.5mg and im still losing ground

should I try progynova or estradiol valerate or estrace or estradiol hemihydrate?

I ordered estrace, will that work more or less effectively than other forms of estradiol?

The transgender woman with zero observed regrowth is back.

Still have zero observed regrowth that can't be attributed to a hair transplant.

I have been lightly needling daily for nearly 3 months with no observed improvement and now Germany's not totally sh*t (unlike the UK) trans healthcare system has put me on Oestradiol hemihydrate gel and 50mg of cyproterone acetate daily (a regimen which regrew almost all the hair of another trans woman I know with a similar - not quite so bad - starting point). I am still taking my 0.5mg of dutasteride daily. I also use topical Minoxidil daily.

After 23 months of EV (very light doses of EV and no AA save dutasteride for nine months, followed by strong EV and spironolactone + dutastide for fourteen months), is there any hope left or is it time to get the shotgun and put old Yella down?

Taking e without a real aa seems a little pointless and spironolactone isnt the best anyway, did you have your levels checked and everything? May as well give your new regimen a shot

Yeah.

A UK transgender service charged me over £1000 for that regimen of 50mcg to 100mcg EV patches and 5mg finasteride (though I took the duta anyway simultaneously).

UK trans care is sh*t.
I started DIYing after I grew tired of that crap.

I did have my levels checked through the process and whilst DIYing from Jan 2018 to July 2018 in the UK. My E was like 1800 pmol/L and my test 0.03 whilst on injected solution and spironolactone.

Thanks for replying.

I haven't been on estradiol in 2 months, I was on it for a year previously, I stopped it just out of laziness to buy more, I'm probably going to buy another years supply in a few weeks but I'm still doing good on just Cyproterone Acetate 50mg and Dutasteride 0.5mg.

Isn’t 50mg too much for cypro? Which is better aa for the long run, cypro or spironolactone?

No, the prescribed dosage of Cyproterone Acetate for prostate cancer treatment is 300mg intramuscular injection once a month or 50mg - 100mg taken orally every day. 50mg/day is standard for transgender patients to maximally lower testosterone. The studies that show 25mg is as close to 50mg in effectiveness were experiments done to see if 50mg was necessary to maximally suppress testosterone, also Spironolactone is trash, it's the weakest AA with the most common uncomfortable side effects. Cyproterone Acetate and Bicaludamide are the strongest AAs.
I heard that 12.5 mg of cypro already drops your t levels very low?
