I find it weird that oral min works worse than topical min when in reality they both should work the same. And many respond to oral better than topical min. If topical works why not just apply it once a day?

me too i pushed the dosage up to 6.25 all i got was a ton of vellus on my forehead but my hairline wasnt stabilized . it's the same for my twin brother who been mainteninng for 13 years on topical min

and i hate using minoxidil because i swear it ages my face badly but yes it works so its kind of a dilemna

Which ages your face the most oral min or topical? I use 5mg oral min once a day. I wanna skip applying topicals. My hairline hasnt moved in many years I just got diffuse thinning.

dutasteride but also not working fir him . we both started loosing hair at 21 we caught up right away at a Norwood 0.5 starting with finasteride but we both noticed it wasnt doing anything after a year so we switched to dutasteride still nothing and added min and it worked instantly just i stopped as it was messing up my face

No. But I’ve seen dutasteride cause many to lose ground.

Just catching up on your comments. There probably are a few mutants out there with high sulfotransferase in their scalps who may do better on topical than oral. The Welshman was one such case. However, it’s quite rare. Still I think you should get off dutasteride.
