Fake Advodart? Please Comment On My Packaging

OK, so I bought what I thought was REAL advodart from Quality Health UK. www.qhi.co.uk ordered twice

The packaging is a box which contains three white plastic "cards" with recesses for the gelcaps and a foil paper covering to retain the pills. it says Glaxo Smith Klein on the box, matches box you can find on google images, says GSK on the foil itself, came with prescription info insert, has braille on the box. pills are ivory/yellow with the right lettering, but the lettering is NOT red. Lettering is kind of grey-ish.

So I called GSK in US. Gave them lot#'s. They said it is not their product, that they have access to worldwide manufacturing lot#'s and my lot#'s which are on the box imprinted not on tape do not match. They said all there lettering is red on Avodart, and they said it only comes in a BOTTLE in 30 or 90 pills not on foil punch cards.

So is the GSK rep crazy? Do UK manufactured Avodart packages look different? Or is this a fake? thoughts?

If I could get a prescription I would do it in a heartbeat. Have had no luck. I am in the US, NJ. One more appointment with a derm in three weeks, whom I had to pay $800 to see, half up front to hold appointment!

To start with, a photo would be much easier way of judging it than description.

What you have been told about it only being available in bottle form is incorrect and the 'rep' was likely full of sh*t.

What Dutasteride looks like and contents of the pack
Dutasteride soft capsules are yellow, opaque, oblong, gelatin capsules marked with GX CE2 in grey.
They are available in blister packs of 30 capsules.

hello again. Found today a new med which is beinn fast tracked by FDA, the pre-clinical name is VT-464, it inhibits 17/20 Lyase. Addresses adrenal testosterone and dhea. Trials done on prostate cancer and breast cancer (since it shuts down dhea and dhea is precursor for testosterone, andro and estrogen it fits for breast cancer). Their website says will be used for other things like congenital adrenal hyperplasia and precocious puberty. Anyway, with prostate cancer, they want to put adrenal androgens in the basement, but a lower dose would be acceptable for other applications. Thought you might be interested. Good side effect profile and did NOT mess with cortisol or aldosterone, which is sort of amazing.

My avodart is also in blister packs like that, but in different boxes meant for outside of europe, no braile print. The avodart itself (and the blisters) are made in poland by gsk and are without doubt genuine, awesome effect.
