Fake FINCAR from UnitedPharmacies?

I just cut the Fincar and took a piece of it and it doesn't have any taste at all. Also the tablets were send to me from Hong Kong. I suspect that it might be fake.

Does finasteride have a taste? What about the other people here who take generic finasteride, where did your pharmacy sent it from?

Get a drs perscription and you never have to worry.

And my finasteride has a chalky blank taste.

i also get my fincar from unitedpharmacies and i seem to be losing hair since last november maybe there are fakes coming through?? but my fincar tastes like a kiinda soapy taste, is this right?

Do you really think you could even DETECT the taste of only 5 mg of finasteride (not to mention only 1 mg), even if it HAD one?

Whenever i put the 1mg in my mouth, i can barely taste anything, yet if i smell it, it smells somewhat familiar to fish oil..that's the only other thing i could think of.

I've heard UnitedPharmacies does get some of its stuff from Hong Kong, which is supposedly notorious for fakes. However, that is just hearsay, so I don't know if it actually holds any true merit or not. I order mine online too, but from inhousepharmacy. I've never had a problem.

maybe i should go to the Doctor and get a prescription for merck proscar...

what is the cost of going on the real stuff?

I'm in the same place... worked for 18 months for me, last 4 or 5
months has been crap. I ordered a new batch in December, no change as of
yet. I don't want to say it's fake but it's possible with other people reporting
the same thing.

I bought from UP in 2008 and felt it was the same product that I also got from Pharma-Orders.com (now defunct?) and got good results. It was sent from either Hong Kong or India, I can't remember exactly. All Fincar I've had has a slightly sour flavor.

I was just about to order more from UP until I read this post. Can anyone recommend another reliable online pharmacy? Preferably one that accepts PayPal.

if it was fake i think people who took it for enlarged prostate would be keenly aware within 2 weeks

but i doubt anyone orders fincar from UP for enlarged prostate... I bet 100% of the people that buy it are using it for hairloss and cannot readily tell if it is fake

I have been taking FINCAR from UP for several years and have been successfully maintaining so I highly doubt its fake. UP is a pretty reputable company too. Selling fake drugs would be a hugggge risk.

The fake pills are very close to the actual pill it would take a very well trained pharmacist to detect it. The placebo effect could keep you guessing for a very long time if you ever figured out it was fake or not. Any website you order from without a prescription or even outside the U.S. is fair game for dealing fakes.

There was a time, I want to say about a year ago, where my order from UP mysteriously disappeared and it took probably a month for it to arrive at my house. I was very suspicious, however, I have had no problems with their Proscar. After using it all, I ordered another batch about four months ago and nothing is really all that different.

It has to be legit, because for the week or so I waited for the order I was having ridiculously frequent erections. Now, I never considered myself as someone with a low libido, but I mean, it was becoming a nuisance. Everything was turning me on. When I began taking the pills again, everything went back to 'normal.'

I'd always recommend a prescription if you can get it, but from my experience I've had no issues. I'm sure with the numerous members on this website ordering from there, it would begin to be become evident if it was fake. Many on the success forum have used it, or are currently using it.

Also, I should add that I technically have use for Proscar because I have a difficulty urinating on occasion, and UP definitely helps this. Just another point of view here.
