Feedback on my Regimen please.

Only been on my journey around one year, and would like some feedback on my regimen.

I use a few products, and I'm uncertain if they could effect each other. The companies have said they can't comment on how they interact with other products, and would recommend I use on their own.

After I shower, I use a fine needle stamp (only three times a week) before using Watermans Grow More Elixir Scalp Treatment

I then wait an hour before using a Minoxidil spray.

An hour or so before bed, I use BIO-PILIXIN® ACTIVATION SERUM

Are there any of these products that you think I should favour or remove altogether?

I've also read that Minoxidil can be useless if you don't 'activate' it - but this requires another drug from your GP?

Thanks for your help everyone.
(As I am a new member, I had to remove product links, but they are easy to find online)

Never heard of these products but a quick search suggests they're more suited for women, not for androgen related hairloss.

If they are working then stick with them but most people use dht blockers like finasteride and duta (research before though as they can have nasty side effects for some) and/or minoxidil. minoxidil supposedly doesn't work for some people without an enzyme which changes it to I think a sulphate, which adding tretinoin can help with, but for people who do have the enzyme it should work.

Oral minoxidill solves that issue.

You have to tell yourself . Do you want sides or hair ? I picked hair .

As long as you are aware of the sides. I wasn't initially and because they develop gradually, I didn't notice them until a good while after stopping.

Probably lose the extras then and just stick minoxidil, and check out oral minoxidil incase I'm in that category of people without the enzyme. I haven't really noticed much difference in a year, but I haven't got any thinner either. I tried finasteride tablets but the sides were really bad so I stopped.

If you haven't lost much yet then do all you can to keep it because re-growing it is not easy.

Maybe look into dermarolling if you're using minoxidil.

Well....finasteride made me a dribbler permanently from a shooter. This can happen to some but some recover after quitting but I never did. So I got back on finasteride because my hair is more importent than shooting ropes.

Anything is possible… but after trying just about everything.. I currently feel if you don’t see new hair regrowth somewhere on your skull/scalp.. you need to ramp it up…The factors working against males & hair growth are typically pretty severe..

The problem is the more you ramp it up, typically the more side effects you notice since you're changing your natural balance. You're basically battling your body which is determined to to make you look like a twat, and if you fight it, it will make you pay.

I believe you have to be smart about it…You target the scalp.. If you have side effects .. you target the side effects..

Yeah you're upsetting the natural balance. Best you can do is use an aromatase inhibitor to control increased estrogen from using 5ar blockers IMO.

If you want to keep your hair / regrow it healthy.. You HAVE TO CHANGE… Yes, the natural balance will make you bald, grey, white, & old..
I assume you don’t want that…

It sounds like you all know a lot more than me and this is no easy feat. I shave my hair short anyway, and going bald isn't the end of the world for me, I'd just like to keep the density for as long as possible. Doesn't seem to be worth the cost / routine / side effects.

Tbh if hair is not that important to you it is better to not go deeper than finasteride and topical min, just talking out of experience, it is not worth to live a shitty life if hair is not your number one priority on your life.

Absolutely. Only understandable excuse would be if someone is actually considering suicide. Otherwise it’s not worth risking your health, and potentially accelerating hair loss in some rare cases.

Hope you are doing well Adri.
