Feel Like I'm Running Out Of Options

Quick backstory, I started on minoxidil to combat hair loss and just found that it wasn't doing anything, so I started on 0.5mg of finasteride in 2016 and stopped the minoxidil. Since maybe 2017 I've been on 1mg of finasteride (and nizoral shampoo) and my hair is the worst it's ever been, I don't leave the house without large amounts of hair fibres and it's getting to the point where you can tell I have brown stuff in my hair.

I feel like I'm running out of options, I suppose the next step is to try Dutasteride? But I'm definitely scared about losing any hair from switching medication, and I already deal with the side effects from finasteride. What do you guys think?

some of my thoughts are:
1. Try switching to Dutasteride alone and keep on hoping for the best
2. Switch to Dustateride and try Minoxidil again (although this would be a massive pain as I'd have to wash the hair fibres out of my hair to put on the Minoxidil twice a day)
3. Hair transplant, I'm 25 years old and I'm at a stage in my life where I actually like the way I look, I really don't want to give up my hair. But that comes with the downsides of cost, time, pain etc although it is something I could afford abroad.
4. scalp micro pigmentation, I've seen pictures and that looks like my final option

Of course the last problem is I suffer from acne on my scalp, so not only am I scared as hell as to what scars might be on my head, I'll also have a load of spots.

I'm at a loss here, any advice would be much appreciated.

I think you should strongly consider Dutasteride. I've been using Dutasteride for more than four years, and I've had no further hair loss at all since I started using it. I've actually had considerable thickening throughout my whole Norwood area. You could also look into trying RU58841 while also using Dutasteride. I would forget about scalp micropigmentation. It is simply not a satisfactory solution to male pattern baldness.

Can you post pictures of your hair? Before and after?
How's your regimen working Retinoid?

RU58841 worked wonders for my hair loss when finasteride made my hair loss worse. Its more expensive than finasteride but for me it was worth it. The most cost effective source for Ru powder can be found here: https://www.qualityru.com/product-p/qualityru01.htm

He should be suspended by his nutsac from a tree; then gunned down. After that, for his corpse to be quartered & dumped into a 100g plastic barrel filled with hydrofluoric acid. Once liquefied weeks later, obtain access to the top of a skyscraper & pour him out like rain. Only to watch his Misty remains separate on a molecular level with the help of wind speed, LSD, and the inconsistency of the human eye.

Sorry, I really admire imagery, & despise scams. Plus, I'm an inanimate object, so you can't go holding me to your moral compass.

I haven't heard of RU58841 before, what is it?
My doctor is calling my today so I'm going to ask him about Dutasteride

I'll see if I can post some pictures when I get home, but the gist of it is just hair thinning from the crown to the front consistently for the last 5 years, possibly slower since being on finasteride, but no regrowth.

It is going well, mainly just using .5mg/day Propecia and Lipogaine. Having some regrowth and my hair stylist commented that it barely looks thin on top...it is a very slow process but thankfully I caught it early enough before it was noticeable to others when my hair is a good length.

Thats seriously fantastic to hear that finasteride has worked out in your favor. You were definitely the guy that brought hyper reflex androgeneticity to my attention. With that being said; hell am I waiting for?

I'm going to have positive thoughts when I begin, and try not to over think this.

I do not really believe in hyper reflex androgencity with something like Finasteride which does not block ARs. The term is thrown around a lot here and I think people here just have a lot of BDD and anxiety about their hair. I would start low and work your way up. I find 1mg/day unnecessary.

Is it possible that both together (min and finasteride) would work rather than separately? I'm just thinking aloud. I wonder if someone had that experience.

You are golden bro. Do my regimen and you will get 100 percent of your hair back I promise.

Finasteride. No side effects at all.
Minoxidil morning and night. Plus .5 dermapen for absorbtion every morning. 1.5 mm dermapen once a week.

I take Sawpalmetto(blocks dht), Pygeum(blocks dht), biotin. Coconut oil+cayenne pepper oil mixture every day or other day for 30 minutes or more.(cayenne blocks cannibinoids from marijuana use, which can cause hair loss. And it stimulates new hair growth).

I use an inversion table about 15 to 30 minutes a day spread out in like 5 minute increments.

I massage coconut oil with a brush on my scalp for around 10 minutes a day or other day. Brush or fingertips. Doesnt matter.
Also I do fingernail rubbing around 10 minutes a day throughout the day.(stimulates the hair follicles).

Was bad as you can tell. Every vellus hair has grown back from my original hair line. The scalp also looks way less inflammed. I think I'll honestly have 80 to 100 percent of my hair back by the end of month 3.
