I decided to do something about male pattern baldness about 2 months ago, been on finasteride/minoxidil past the shedding phase now see very minimal hair loss. I just have a few questions....

What Norwood am I ?
What hair style will suit me?
Anything I can do to counter the SIdes of finasteride?
(Nothing serious, but some sides present)
how many grafts would I need to restore hairline?

Thanks...

ur about NW2-NW2.5,
current style suits u perfectly.
not sure how to counter sides of finasteride but it prob wont give u sides.
at current loss, about 1200-1500 would restore your hairline. You dont need a hair transplant now, but in the future (2-3 years) you might need it.

even with finasteride i will need surgery? in 3 year
Yes, even more important is to stick with Finasteride when you had surgery. Think about how ugly you hair looks when you have restored your hairline but then you start losing behind.

I agree with Norwood 2-2.5.

Btw. finasteride is said to maintain, regrowth, particulary in the temple area, is rather unusual.

so ur saying even with finasteride, i will continue to lose hair till i have to get surgery ?
Hmmm, no. Usually Finasteride will maintain what you have, maybe some thickening. But if you decide to get surgery you should stay on Finasteride to maintain the hair in the non-transplanted areas.
