I never had bad sides but you can't give up yet. Let your body adjust and it is likely most sides you talk about will ease off in time. Although the sudden drop in libido isn't generally a good sign. I think that side-effect is universal but I never noticed it to be anything too significant.

It is interesting because you have awesome hair right now with a perfect hairline, but you are just on that cliffs edge. If you do not treat it you will likely become a NW6 pretty fast given the thinning over all the prone areas to male pattern baldness.

Yeah I feel like im fucked. The people in my family never just go to like NW2-3 and then stop. They usually go to NW7 in their early 20s so I basically have no hope.

Update: 12 days in

1. The erectile dysfunction issue is pretty much gone. I still dont get random boners like I used to before but I can get it up only when I want to. Libido is still very very low.

2. Still losing 300-500 hairs everyday with a majority of them being very thin. My scalp is still very sore and painful.

Nonsense. This has been discussed a hundred times before. Over and over again people dont know or cant recite the things from previous discussions.
Exercising and gym is good for you regardless of hair. It raises T slightly as does sex but its very temporary. Your T spiking for 20 minutes slightly out of 24 hours isnt going to make any difference whatsoever. Its a myth as long as your not on steroids its not even worth worrying about.

Do you have any solid research on this? Not knocking you, but I tried to look into this and it was tough to find any studies.

I’m curious because I just started to go to the gym when I found out about my hair loss and I feel very conflicted about it

Welp, you just comfirmed two things.

1.) I won't be taking finasteride ever.

2.) I wasted money purchasing finasteride to have on standby.

Read the updates lol. Maybe that will change ur mind.

It’s not as bad as you think man... I’m really rooting for you though.
You can be honest, its pretty f*****g bad compared to even baseline. I cant see myself having the same results on finasteride that you did because our family history of balding is a lot different. I have multiple under 24 nw6-7 in my family including my dad. I am fighting a losing battle here and am scared tbh.

I see some thinning but I’m pretty sure it not to the point where anyone would notice it.

What you’re feeling is normal man.... I think everyone who comes on this forum is scared. As much as people minimize it in today’s society it’s a real life changer. All we can really do is take our meds, use other’s on this forum for some moral support and hope for the best.

Have you been able to get any avodart?

No avodart yet but yeah I guess that is the next step. I dont even know how im going to get it in Canada tbh most derms here I feel don't really know much about hairloss from my experience with talking to them. But to be fair its probably not a good idea to go to a female dermatologist for these things.

You hair loss would not even be noticeable to most people.
My friends definitely notice that I have hairloss because they knew me from before. To others apparently it looks like I have naturally low density hair like tom hardy.

How long is your hair here? If it’s possible to grow it out a bit more I think you’d get better coverage. I’m not sure if it’s the lighting or what but to me it doesn’t look so bad.

Its a bit less than an inch I believe or around an inch long. Yeah I am going to try to grow it out long and keep it at around 4 inches.

Dude if you get it to four inches I doubt anyone will see it.
