So today I actually did what I dreaded I had to do eventually

I tried so much to hide my hairline, people in the past always complemented my hair, it was so thick and would go however I wanted it made. I was the guy with the nice hair. Now it's a norwood 3 with an obvious density loss.
But now I just went to the barber and told him to cut that pesky hair, I asked for the most generic, army-tier buzzcut

after it felt so liberating, no more worrying about styling, about trying to hide it, no more drying my long hair. I think i finally accepted that it's gone and I can now enjoy myself. Life has so much to offer and all the worrying and stress about my hair was not worth that much. But at least I learned to not be so judging of myself and my image in the mirror.
I look so plain and boring it's just "beautiful", I am the average joe with obviously receided hairline that no one bats an eye at, no more funky, flowing in wind hair.
a lot of respectable guys in the field I work with are bald or just plain ugly, and they seem very ok with their life and how their are treated, if so many people worked around this issue then I think I can and I must also pass it.
so I just want to tell other people here, stop worrying, shave it, cut it very short and move on with life.
I will still come here from time to time to check if maybe there is some revolutionary treatment, but I am not ashamed of how I look anymore and it's alright even if something knew will not appear.

I never expected it, but I smiled so much when the barber finally cut my hair, I could not hide my grin and joyous smile, and I still have it now after hours. It was this relief and knowing that things will be alright, wish others here could find it.

Had zero stress about my hair when i shaved it. Buzz cuts dont look bad but personally i think NW3 > bald.
