@dralex your hair still looks great! I was expecting A LOT worst with how you were describing him. Keep us posted on your finasteride experience.

Thanks man. It isn't terrible yet, but disappointing that I've lost so much hair since starting finasteride. But everyone reacts differently. And will do.

I get what you're saying buy my hair is far from great. I had like 2x density of most people. Sucks losing like 80-90% of it. Hair is thin as sh*t in light now and hairline is fucked. I don't get how finasteride could be working if I lost that much hair while on it.
Before I started losing hair, my hair was so thick people would take it as a wig or something lol. Hair loss kicked in agressively and I lost, maybe 30% of it in the entire nw6 region within 6 months? Even then I still had better hair than most of my peers, and definitely thicker than what I had on finasteride.

Did I absolutely maintained my exactly pre treatment hair on finasteride? No. It thinned somewhat but I knew I was safe for at least a long long while because scalp condition and shedding was stable. I monitored it every now and then but mostly was just focusing on my life and forgetting it. I'm so grateful that I did so that now I have something to build upon. And still had good hair for 7 years on it. Well that was the good ole days at least. RIP my hair

Most people won't maintain their exact hair on finasteride especially if you caught it early. Mostly hair would reach a point and be kind of hovering, if you know what I mean. As long as you are stable and in the full range just stop overthink it man.
