We would all like to have a perfect hairline and that is a good goal, but if it does not happen, maintainence would be an awsome result for you. Your hair looks fine and no one would ever think of you as balding. It is clear to those who are educated on male pattern baldness and the norwood scale that you have a slight recession, but if I had seen you before becoming a member of this site, I would think you have a very normal hairline. Be happy you cought your hairloss before it even became noticable. BTW I think the whiffle look suits you well.
Your hair looks pretty dense man. If my hair were that thick, I'd be a very happy NW2. If I were you, I'd grow my hair out a little longer while it's still dense, but that's just me.
Regardless, it's doubtful anyone outside these forums would think you're balding.
Although I am not a Norwood 2 (yet) I have about the same type of thinning in the front as Thylax, but maybe I am in the same boat as him because I am not happy with my hair thinning, yet casual observers (or people further along in male pattern baldness) seem to think it is just fine and that I am not balding. But maybe only I can see where things are headed.
For someone with Thylax's density, I would suggest growing the hair much longer, so thinning areas and the temples can be somewhat covered. This should be done cosmetically while on treatment. This is what I do.
I can see you have some temple loss. Most likely you will not grow that back. Just stay with the product you have and everything will go well for you. Most people will not think you have a hair loss problem. I'm at the same point like you and I been on propecia for 3 years and it will not grow any better on my temple. If you see my website you will see that it stay at the same hair line.
I forgot to mention that I had used propecia for about 9 months and then I stopped because I did not see any regrowth. About 1.5 month ago I started again because many guys stated that see results after 1 year of use.
