Finasterid and minoxidil loosing it's effect, pics will be added

Hi!
Iam 28 and have been loosing/thinning hair above temples for about 5-6 years. 2 years ago i started on Rogaine(minoxidil) for above my temples, it had a rather moderate effect after 6months - but at least it was not loosing/thinning as fast anymore.

About a year ago/year and a half my crown started to get thinner also, almost as all the hair on the crown got very light and bright. Then i started to apply Rogaine there also, and i would say that the effect was quite good and now the hair in the crown is a bit fuller and thicker.

The crown thinning freaked me out a bit so i started on Propecia(Finasterid) a year ago and the effect of regrowth have been small.

This summer i was out of Rogaine for about 3 weeks (couldnt by it locally anymore) and i felt the hair was quite suddenly getting thinner in this period. Actually i felt a diffuse thinning on the top of my head, temples,crown all over the place just not the sides... Can three weeks woithout Rogaine have this effect? I was still on propecia! Iam on Rogaine again now..and i think iam getting som shedding....

Regime:
1/5 Propecia every day
5%minoxidil apply at evening.
(Should I add the nizoral shampoo? Where to order, whta website?, Iam from sweden - So sorry for the bad english! :freaked2:

you can buy fungoral in sweden, its the same shampo as nizoral.. just difrent name.
2% keto.. u get it in the pharmacy.
i would go up to regular 1mg finasteride a day.
minoxidil ugualy take about 3 months to loose its effect so it shouldnt make u shed.. but medc work difrent from person to person so it might be because of the breake.. we can never really be sure.
It can alsow just be a regular shed.. and that it will come back.

they don't lose their effects. I guarantee if you stop using them, you will lose a lot of hair, and be where you would have been had you been on nothing this whole time.

You say you are taking 1/5 of a Propecia tablet every day - or do you mean 1/5 of a Proscar tablet? If you are taking just 0.2mg/day of finasteride that might help explain why you are seeing a slow response. But maintenance, rather than regrowth, is a more likely outcome with finasteride anyway. As CCS says if you stop taking it you will lose all the "additional" hair that the drug has regrown/preserved within a few months.

Looking at your regimen in the round, there is not much you can do besides adding Nizoral to complete the Big 3. Every other treatment has much weaker supporting evidence. But you might like to try Tricomin or Revivogen, reviewed on the main site.

About the nizoral shampoo, is there any good websites i can order it from to scandinavia, dont want to make a face at the local pharmacy. As half my neighbourhood is working there....

Also where can i find pictures/drawings of NW1, NW2, NW3 so that it's easier to explain my status ?

Bought Fungoral(same as Nizoral) today, which in my case completes the "big three". Hopes this is able to help me regrow a little bit above the temples, at least maintain what i have today.

Also where can i find pictures/drawings of NW1, NW2, NW3 so that it's easier to explain my status ?
