Finasteride almost 7 months in.

Hello guys,

I started finasteride (almost) 7 months ago. 0,25mg 6 months and the last month 0,5mg. I notice a decrease in shedding.

First 3/5 months.. i shedded a lot. Now atm i don't have shedding. I saw a lot of thin hairs fall in my hand.

Only.. My hairline (right-side) is receding.. It's thick behind the hairline but it went 1 cm to the back..

what can i do? Does finasteride work?

finasteride is meant to stop your hair loss getting worse and in some cases people also get regrowth. The basic guideline is to give it a year and if you're hairloss is getting worse at this stage worse then finasteride probably isn't for you.

Ur taking too small of a dose. Stay at .5 for another 5/6 months and you will see maintenance

Increase finasteride dose

The effective dose is 0.05 mg for finasteride. I recommend increases to about 0.5 a day if 0.25 isnt cutting it. Don't increase too much if you are worried about sides.

Weaker erections, but thats ok now. Now im back to horney all day again.. LAL. Watery or less seemen.. but idc about that.
