finasteride and Gyno?

What are the chances of getting Gyno while taking 1mg finasteride a day? Were there any studies done with finasteride that show percentages of people that got Gyno? Also, what are some risk factors for getting Gyno while on finasteride?


Some background:
-21 years old
-good health, workout 5 days a week, eat right
-no sign of gyno when i was younger (just stressing now bc i dont want it!)
-currently on minoxidil and fincar 1mg a day

I read somewhere that older, overweight guys in poor shape are more at risk than younger men in good shape.

Thanks Pondle you've been a great help the past few days. Im gunna give Fincar a shot (2nd day on it today) and monitor myself carefuly for changes in sex drive, gyno, etc...

but research at finasterid 1mg it has not shown any signs of it..
there the sides where only minimal.. on lower sexyal desire. or softer erection, brain fog, head aice. and that was on a 5 year study

No, the official report mentioned absolutely nothing regarding "brain fog". While I don't doubt some people experience (or think they experience) this side, it certainly was never mentioned in the clinical trials.

I think some paranoids attribute virtually any physical or psychological change to their consumption of finasteride :roll:
