finasteride and hairline

sup guys,

i started finasteride about 5 weeks ago @ 1.25 mg a day. i have a full head of hair with Minor recession of the frontal hairline , im not a full 2 on the Norwood scale . since i started the treatment my hairline seems to thin out and move up.. is this normal ? will i get the hair lost back ? i started treatment to keep what i laready have , but from the looks of it , its taking what i have ..lol

you have a "full head of hair" and taking 1.25mg?

perhaps you made the wrong choice to use finasteride.. probably should of first tried minoxidil/rogaine, which could be more effective on the front thanfin.. that said, some people DO shed when they first start finasteride for the first few months, this usually means the hair will regrow back "stronger"

finasteride isn't for people that are losing the hair naturally with age.. it's for the people that are loosing it quickly at a young(er) age. are you 30~ with a full head of hair or 20~ with a receding hairline?

perhaps not worded correctly, but still stand by what i said. if you're 30-40 yrs old with a full head of hair, with only minor receding do you think finasteride is actually going to do anything?

i'm 24 years old with receding hairline, i wanna keep what i have , not looking to regrow anything just wanna keep what i have or slow future male pattern baldness. im on nizoral 3 X a week and nioxin on other days . i'm on 1.25 mg a day with zero sides. i'm a powerlifter and still gaining strength and still strong in the bed room, it seems to help clear some minor acne i have also ...
