finasteride and thinning above my sideburns

I Have been taking finasteride, minoxidil and using nizoral for 6 months now. Ive deffinatly thickened up towards the back and my wife says overall my hair is getting better. But i have thinning at each the parts above my sideburns will minoxidil if applied help? im using it all over the top of my head once a day at the moment. also will the finasteride doing anything to help the parts above my sideburns?

I noticed mine was thin around month 5 and it was very noticeable. I never saw hairs in the sink, etc
like people describe during a shed but I wonder now if that is what was happening. At the time I just
thought it might have always been like that and I just noticed the thinning. I basically
forgot about and now at 13 months the sides and above the sideburns are as thick as they have
ever been.
