Finasteride for $9.00 at Walmart Pharmacy!

Well, I went ahead and called walmart to see whether the prices of finasteride will be effected by me not being covered by insurance, and it turns out that the finasteride its self is just 9 dollars to begin with. So I would only have to pay the DR 80 dollars once or twice a year and still be able to get the finasteride for dirt cheap. Not too bad at all.

I did experience a slightly intense testicle pain when I increased my dose, but it usually goes away in a day or two.

At least with Cipla brand 5mg Finpecia, cutting into 8ths (0.625 mg) is really easy. Just though I would mention in case you're paranoid about sides.

Does the generic finasteride work? The finasteride I got from Walgreens - which is now $220 (crazy) doesn't work as well as the Merck Branded Propecia. I don't know what the difference is but it is extremely noticeable once I switched from Walgreens Generic aka Dr. Reddy's.

I was able to go on walgreen's prescription plan for 20 dollars a year and get generic proscar for 10 dollars.

Just out of curiousity how much does generic propecia cost? The normal 1mg that is for hair loss. There are generic versions now and its been years since it went generic so I wondered how much that cost. I probably use that if I ever tried it since I probably split and use .25mg instead of larger doses.

Yea that's all well and good unless you have a DR and an insurance CO that won't give you the 5 mg because "That's for a different use" and the 1 mg is cosmetic only. WalMart offers the 1 mg for 30 pills at $130. So no thanks...

Lol what walmart are you going to? I get 30 1mg pills for like $25

If you go on goodrx.com you can find out what pharmacy is selling it for the cheapest at the moment and print out a coupon

CostCo has it for 100 pills for $22 or so... Have to get a membership, but that would be like $400 at Walmart

Nah with my new insurance I just picked up 90 1mg at Walmart for $29

Most insurance isnt going to cover the 1mg propecia since its approved only for cosmetic use. If I get a script for propecia I would look around for good prices first although the companies could raise them anytime they want. They got you by the balls once u start and can price gouge anytime they want.
Its a little odd to me original propecia was like 60 a month but a lot of the prices seem like they are still that amount or even higher in some cases? How can propecia cost more today then it did on release its ridiculous.
