i know the half-life in your blood is 5-10 hours, but i've heard about it lasting for 48 to 72 hours in your follicles, anyone know of any truth behind this?

I've never heard that claim, and I would STRONGLY doubt it. I think that whoever may have made such a claim probably confused that with the fact that serum levels (and presumably hair follicle levels) of DHT remain suppressed for a week or two after discontinuing finasteride.

it takes about 5 days, before DHT levels are back to baseline/normale after discontinuing FInast.

incorrect axon, once finasteride inhibits the 5-alpha reductase enzyme, it stops producing DHT forever, the problem is they just keep reproducing

Please be clearer. That statement is completely unintuitive.

Either way, you are returning to the original level of DHT, or near to it.
