I have been on finasteride for about 4 months and a half now and my hair has constantly gotten worse each month. My hair is thinning so fast ever since I got on finasteride and I am losing hair on the side of my head near my crown. I have never had any hair loss there up until I started taking finasteride. I basically went from a Norwood 2.5 to a Norwood 3.5 in a matter of 4 months. Is quitting finasteride my best option?

Finasteride is not accelerating your hair loss.
I have never had any hair loss in the sides of my head and my hair loss has never been this rapid up until I started taking finasteride so tell me how it isn’t finasteride

Because you’re applying faulty logic. You were already suffering hair loss so very likely was progressing to this point anyway. Hair cycles are long, shedding can be expected with finasteride and it’s a long term treatment. Did you actually read anything about the drug before you started taking it?
