Hello,
I haven't made the jump to Finasteride yet. I fault spending too much time on these boards and reddit. I also had a derm unwilling to write it for me citing a patient had persistent depression after starting. I imagine if i went to a derm that was okay with it (which most seem to be) and didn't read all this fearful, personal experience i'd just jump on as they suggest.
I also think i spent a good bit of time hoping or wanting it to be Telogen Effluvium or stress induced, kind of waiting for the itch, shed, tingle to all correct themselves. But the temples are becoming more apparent so i think it's time to consider that it isn't going to get better.
At any rate, here we are.
My thought is to engage in both Topical and Oral finasteride but alternate. Reason being to reduce any potential sides by taking .5mg EOD and topical EOD on my off days - leaving one day completely off to derm.
Thoughts on this? Anyone try something similar or have any feedback/experience?
