finasteride - Puffy Nipples

I have been taking propecia for 12 months and have now decided to stop, i noticed that my nipples are alot puffier than before i started finasteride.

Will they go back to normal themselves as i now stopped finasteride or would anyone recommend taking ARIMIDEX or TAMOXIFEN.

bull crap jeff. what do you think pufy nipples are a result of??? Excess estrogen, thats what.

What do you think arimidex does jeff? Its an AI - stops testosterone turning into estrogen. That WILL help puffy nipples as it will reduce estrogen.

SSM, how bad are your nipples? And do you feel any lumps?

If you dont feel any lumps, I recommend waiting about a month and seeing what happens. If nothing changes I would take low dose arimidex.

Yes. Don't assume. Go to the doctor and have him examine. Even if he says he see's nothing, demand an estrogen test. Simple. If your estrogen levels are elevated, stop taking finasteride. Simple. This happens in very few people according to the statistics, so rather than let your brain control you via paranoia, get the test and be done with it, and use alternate treatements. Simple.

I have had puffy nipples on and off for the 4 months I've been on finasteride. I've tried just attributing it to the cold weather and not wearing an undershirt under my work clothes. They don't feel irritated all th time...just certain days. Is this a pre-lude to GYNO? I can deal w/ the in and out nipple irritation, but I work out frequently and really don't want to develop a pair of tits. Thoughts/suggestions/help?!?!!?

This is the best advice that can be given. I strongly urge you to take it. Don't look to the Internet for a diagnosis. Go to a caring, compassionate physician.
