Bit of background here: I started finasteride in March, it didn't seem to have much noticable impact so I went off it a couple of months ago. I then noticed a considerable increase in shedding, losing about 30 or more hairs every time I washed and dried my hair (always drying it with the bloody towel that makes it all fall out) before going back to finasteride again.
So anyway. I got a new shaver for Christmas, a nice Phillips one, and have noticed that it isn't working maybe as it should, particularly above my lip, as even when I shave it's rather dark. So I went back to my old shaver, same problem. Tried my dad's Remmington foil shaver, same problem. Then I had a wet shave and yup, same problem. Then my dad said what if it's not the shaver, what if it's the tablets?
And it's quite a good question. What if it is those pesky tablets?
It's not that I need to shave more in particular, it's just that when I shave, well, it looks like I haven't. There's a *very* dark mark there that certainly wasn't there before and it looks a bit silly. Could it be the finasteride?
Thanks
