finasteride shedding thick hair wtf help!

2.3 months on finasteride and shedding Tiny weak hair and semi hair and thick hair in The same amount is this normal and how Long Will it keep going pls answer freaking out is this normal what is this sorcery. Proscar 1.25 mg is My use, this shedding hair Will comeback right

Most people will tell you when starting any treatment, you can expect a phase where you will shed a greater than normal amount of hair. Usually this is within the first few months. It doesn't mean you're losing hair. Hair has three cycles - telogen (resting) anagen (growing) are the important ones you need to know. A lot of times when you start a treatment, Some of your telogen hairs will be forced out to make room for healthier anagen hairs. Likewise, you may see some weaker anagen hairs transition into telogen, to be lost months later, so a more terminal hair can begin it's growth. You need to ride it out man. Stop looking at every hair you lose. I brush my hair every morning and like 40 hairs fall out. Losing hair is part of the process. You cannot really see, or monitor your regrowth unless it's right at the hair line. If at 10-12 months, you are below baseline, then it's time to freak out and consider dropping finasteride.

I went through two sheds on finasteride, one was about 4 weeks after starting and it lasted 4 weeks, another was at the 6 month mark and it went on for about three months. Things are slowing down now, to the point where I get maybe 3 hairs when I run my hands through my whole scalp. Stick with it and DO NOT play around with dosing and timing, I believe that this is what caused a second, prolonged shed.
