Finasteride Stopped Working, Switching To Dutasteride?

Hey guys,

Unfortunately after 2 years and a few months of using finasteride it stopped working and my temples are receding rather fast now.

Are there any guys who experienced the same and switched to dutasteride?
What where the results? I'm afraid of the horror stories of dutasteride completely ruining the hairline, but obviously this will happen if I don't do anything as well...

I've had some periods feeling sh*t about my hair, but I think I never feel so depressed in my life...
I'm 24, about NW3 and receding on finasteride. It feels like I already lost the fight...

You unfortunately might be a non-responder. There's reall yno harm in trying dutfor a year though. I don't believe that dutasteride is worse for the hairline than finasteride. They both have the same mechanism of action, one if just far stronger.

Bruh, I posted in your thread like a week ago. Your hair still looks the same, I think the drug is working.

Yes, well, I doubt it, but I just stress about my hair too much lately, so maybe I imagine...

But yesterday I told my girlfriend like I'm feeling sh*t about my hair (because I felt really really down last week) and she started laughing and told me she don't give a sh*t if I go bald. Especially when I told about the fact I use finasteride, she said get off the stupid drug and let it be..

Not that I'm gonna quit finasteride, but anyways, I feel allot better and will continue with finasteride for a while till it really gets allot worse.

Still, experiences with switching from fina to duta are more than welcome as I'm very curious about the results you guys have gotten with the switch!
