I'm want to start taking Finasteride but want to know if its worth.

I know Minoxidil treats from your scalp down so it barely effects the DHT which attaches itself to the hair follicle so when you stop taking it the hair follicle is the same as if you never took Minoxidil.

I'll add a (?) where i'm not sure if I'm correct.

So when taking Finasteride it lowers the conversion of Testosterone to DHT and slows the progression of hair loss(?), as less DHT is bonding itself to the hair follicle(?).

So my question is, is there a genuine reversal of hair thinning and is there any genuine gain after you've stopped, lets say for about a year. So would there be any difference if you never even took Finasteride in the first place. I know you will keep thinning if you're still experiencing MPD but is there a slight reversal or postponement like rolling the clock back a few years.

I think I've heard people say that it will all fall out after 6 months if you stop. To me it makes sense that Finasteride can at least slow down hair loss as there is not as much DHT to attach to the follicles. Also when there is regrowth is that from DHT being removed from hair follicles allowing them to grow better and why do they return to normal so quickly if the hair took years to thin in the first place.

thanks for reading.
