How bad is your hairloss? Have you tried minoxidil yet? At your age, I tried minoxidil for a good few years and in between some other snake oil things.
I jumped on the finasteride bandwagon when I was 23 years old. So everyone would give you a different answer.
I still believe at the age of 18, you are still growing in some extent. Males tend to have thickening of bones and eyes still grown and expand etc until the age of 21 years old. As finasteride affects hormonal balance, you may be better waiting.
Anyway, get some professional advice.
Why don't you try some minoxidil - rogaine / regaine / spectral DNC etc etc. So many different brands.
actually iam trying spectral dnc (minoxidil) atm. i will go to a doctor next week. and i wanna keep my hair. my father got bald when he was 20 years old.some people said "minoxidil can grow new hair but it wont keep your own hair". and thats why i want to take finasteride (0,5mg).
