Hi,

I'm not going bald, but my hair seems a little thinner. The problem is, I've always had very fine hair that would go flat if I grew it out a little. When it's longer and parted in the middle, a lot of scalp would show. Is there anything that I can do to actually make my hair thicker??? I would get something like hair plugs, but that takes your own hair, which is too thin to start with. Are there any options?

Thank you

also, has there been any updates on the VEGF article, where they increased hair growth speed and thickness on mice with extra VEGF?

You can use some hair thickening cremes such as Nick Chavez Plum N Thick Creme or TIGI Thickening Creme, Just ordered it myself so I could drop you a review once I have it recieved. Also there are some nice thickening shampoo's like American Crew.

Garnier Fructis Surf Hair has been recommended on this site. I tried it and it thicken my hair up better than any thickening shampoo.

I use Avacor Hair Thickening Serum and Loreal Thickening Hair Gel--these two really helped over normal hair gels.

Also, I started using Lasercomb two weeks ago, and I could tell this past weekend that my hair looked thicker--not more hair--just that my existing hair looked thicker. However, I haven't used the comb since Friday, and noticed today that I seem to have lost that extra thickness gained over the weekend.

Anyway, I have to give the comb some more time before evaluating it. But it seems possible that the comb could help thicken my existing hair.
