Finpecia arrived today...a few questions...

I received 3 months worth of 1mg Finpecia pills today. I purchased them cheaply from a company that supply them from India. I shouldn't be too concerned that they are made out of country should I? Do any others get theirs from overseas? I am probably being paranoid but was thinking of whether manufacturing standards in other places are not as strict than in Western states?

Anyway...

Am about to start after deciding that minoxidil wasn't working for me after using it for about 10 months now. I experienced more furious shedding cycles than before I started using it and my hairline has receded fairly noticably now. Whether this had anything to do with the minoxidil is not conclusive though, but in any case, regrowth/maintaining hair didn't seem to be happening. I was taking 2mg once a day towards the end of the regimen.

Any encouragement or advice appreciated as I start on the propecia.
Cheers!

I get mine 2 miles down the road from a local RX.

Keep up the minoxidil, I have seen many posts here where people didn't start getting results until the combined them both.

To add to my first post.
I have done a bit of research of the Cipla company in India that produces Finpecia; the cheap version of propecia. It is the biggest drugs producer in the country who export worldwide and has been inspected by the US Food n' Drug Admin which ok'ed it for health and safety. Seems ok for me.

Cheers guys for the support. Hmmm, will consider taking a combo of minoxidil/finasteride. Would be sensible I know. :hairy:

I could start adding Nizoral or similar to the mix but to be honest I havn't experienced any scalp irriatation since the first week or two of starting minoxidil. I believe I read that the shampoo itself contains DHT inhibitors but when I have tried it in the past, it seems to dry my scalp up bigtime so I don't like the stuff.
