Finpecia/Fincar 1 year and 6 month update.

Well guys I have been on Finpecia/Fincar for around 1 year and 6 months. Before I started I would wash my hair and dry it and literally have so much hair falling out that I would have to spit it out of mouth. Well it appears I have been able to maintain what I had since I started on Finpecia/Fincar. Of course I am a Norwood 4-5 so I will take what I can get. I havent seen any growth, at least none at the hair line, and I get to depressed to look at the back of my head. Do you guys think there is any chance of growth since I have been on it for so long. Also, I have only been on 2 of the big three. I may start minoxidil. I guess bottom line is Finpecia/Fincar has worked for me. It has helped me maintain or at least stop the loss to a great degree. Just wish I had more, heck im not greedy I would be the happiest person in the world to get to a Norwood 3.

you most likely had SOME regrowth with propecia, it's just so small and hard to notice overtime.

it's great you maintained at least and yes I think you can get some regrowth if you try minoxidil.

Have you been using minoxidil foam?

If not, its worth a try!

Even someone who is a Norwood 4-5? No, never tried the foam. Guess I will read up on it. Is there a huge difference in the generic Rogaine Walmart sells? I know its a lot cheaper.
