Hi team,

I'm grateful to find a there's a community for these sorts of issues.

Basic facts:

24 Y/O

Propecia and Minoxidil 5% (regaine) foam - 1 & a 1/4 years

I've taken some pictures to show the white bulb + flake like substance on the end of my hairs.

The bulb that you'll see at the end of my hair does vary in size, sometimes its two or three times as large. I think the substance is keratin but I'm unsure as to the reason for the size variance. Could it be because of the Propecia, or the Rogaine that's applied to certain areas of my scalp?

This additional flake like substance (potentially excess Keratin?) is easily removed by a light pull with my fingers, whereas the normal bulb isn't easily removed.

Does anyone know what might be happening here?

Cheers

I think you have testosterone overestimated! Test for hormones testosterone-estradiol

Testosterone is too high for you! At the tips of the roots it is fat that drives testosterone up! Through the sebaceous glands that are on your head! The result is hair loss!

I had the same white bulbs on my hair strands when I wasn’t on finasteride and I have never touched minoxidil. I always thought it to be sebum build up that’s just stuck on the root. But honestly, I got no idea. I’ve tried to research it before but didn’t get much wiser from it. This is the first time I’m seeing a theory like @Yar his theory though. Anyone that can acknowledge this theory?

I myself had this sebum, which means your testosterone is too high than before!

So bro what we have to do then?
Stop taking finasteride !!! They all increase testosterone! Uses in bodybuilding! Avodart and finasteride take bodybuilders to increase testosterone! Do not believe trichology! Testosterone causes hair loss I take estradiol and testosterone inhibitors to reduce testosterone! Estradiol is a testosterone antagonist!

Some people in our branch use Avodart! I think that it is not necessary to do this! Avodart increases testosterone. They do completely opposite things. Increases testosterone. I take from 2-4ml of estradiol per day. The first time I tried on myself was the female hormonal drug Klimen! He began to give hair growth. And he reduced the loss!

Doesn't avodart increase testosterone because it blocks dht conversion, keeping testosterone from being converted to dihydrotestosterone thus leaves you with more testosterone?

Testosterone is the cause of hair loss and not dht, there is no dht at all, this is a fake for fools! There is testosterone and estradiol are two main hormones! Testosterone is an androgen, and therefore is called androgenic alopecia, and not dht alopecia. Androgenic alopecia !!!

If there was DHT, then you would call it DHT alopecia. Testosterone causes hair loss and the more testosterone the more loss! Testosterone is androgen! Therefore, all this is called Androgenic Alopecia!

Yep that’s why fina/Duta works for almost 80-90% of their users. Stop BSing people pls.
Не увеличивает ли он тестостерон, потому что он препятствует превращению тестостерона в дигидротестостерон, таким образом, оставляя вам больше тестостерона? [/ QUOTE]
