By the way - I want to point out that the owner of Procerin has admitted to me numerous times in emails that his "affiliate" websites completely lie about Procerin, Propecia, and other things just to get sales. He feels its not his problem nor his responsibility to do anything about it.

That should tell you something about Procerin.

gourmetstylewellness.com

why would he tell you that his affiliate webisite lie ?? wouldn't that hurt his sales of his product.

I have been on Procerin since november, and I am begining to think it is an absolute scam. I havn't noticed a single bit of regrowth yet, and I have been using it with Revivogen. My hairloss isn't that severe, my hair began falling out within the past 3-4 yrs very slowly. Therefore I should have been a good respondent on on procerin, if it worked. I began 1/4 proscar from the 1st of september, because I know for a fact that it'll work because it has worked for millions of people and tests show that it reduces scalp DHT by 65%.

All in all, I am begining to think Procerin is a load of crap. I fell for their marketing crap, and THEY WERE REALLY REALLY GOOD AT IT! At the time, I never came to discussion forums and read about procerin being a scam and etc. I just went on websites that promote procerin. I wish I had come here earlier, I feel as though the hair I lost while on procerin might not be reversable and my chances hair recovery from 4 yrs ago just slipped alot, by not taking finasteride.

If anyone wants to see my before and after pics, then please ask, and you will see that my hair has gotten worse, because what I have been using was a complete waste.

Yeah, I guess I fell for it too. Since I've been taking procerin my hair has also started falling out more. Why do you think that the hair that fell out while on procerin will not grow back? Maybe the finasteride will reverse the problem. I hope this hasn't done perm damage to our follicles by using saw palmetto. I'm going to qiut using that crap all together.

gourmetstylewellness.com,
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I do appreciate the feedback, but I have to say i'm a little bit confused.

You're already taking it. Basically. You're already on a potent hormonal modulator with a high incidence of side effects. Its called Saw Palmetto. You're terrified of Propecia but have no problem taking Saw Palmetto? hmm.

You mentioned that Procerin and Propecia are not at all the same thing, but in the very same post, you essentially said that they WERE the same thing.

DHT inhibitor does not equate to "hair loss treatment".

If DHT inhibition is the the cause of stopping hair growth with propecia, why wouldn't it do the same with Procerin?

Not trying to be difficult, just want to get it straight.

gourmetstylewellness.com, are you using finasteride, and if so how have your results been? (regrowth, side effects, shedding?)

I am going to see my derm soon and will ask him about finasteride. The thing is, I don't know if I can deal with another shed. I'm at the point now where I have to keep my hair down over my forehead to cover the hairling. I have a noticable thin patch right in the middle of the hairline, and I seem to be thinng don the middle alll the way back to the vertex. To the left and right of my middle part I still have god thickness. The temples are pretty fr back. I feel like if I do another shed, that's it. I will officially be noticably balding (where as before, I was thick enough that I could afford to risk a shed or two.

So, it's a big decision. I'd almost rather just stop taking anything and go bald slowly over time. It's not so much the baldness, but its the young baldness I don't want. (I'm only 25)

The other thing is, I like to wear my hair a bit longer than the typical very short men's hairstyle. Not really long, just more like people wore it in the nineties (before the George Cloony phenom took over men's hairstyles). the thing is, I only see pics of men with really short hair who are treating hairloss. If I take Propecia, will I be able to keep my hair at the longer lenth (about 3-4 inches), or will I shed to the point that I have to cut it short, and then I'll have propcecia hair that grows very slowly and I'll have to keep it very short? Is anyone using propecia who has hair longer than a couple inches?

Sorry, tons of annoying neurotic questions there...

no sides with finasteride for me.
First week, I had some mood swings. After that no side effects.

Procerin is a scam.
Don't waste money on it.
you don't need to taste and test cyanide to say that cyanide is a poison.
