the really sad thing is that in an issue of Mens Health some months back they were hailing this to be almost a "cure" for balding and in the whole 2 full page article not a single mention of propecia

Oh God!!!! I had 2 scalp reductions many years ago as at the time this was the technology availiable. No such thing as internet with forums such as this to find out info and this is only 20 years ago but I guess I was one of the lucky ones. It was however truly painfull. With a couple of hair transplants I have now been able to cover the scar and fill in my frontal section but I when I started I was only 25 and if i had my time over I would not start this early in life and especially if I had seen these pictures but I guess I am like a lot of you i was in fear of loosing my hair. At least now I know I will not loose any further hair past my strip scar as I guess some don't know where their balding will finally finish.

Thanks for the post...but thats f..cking some sad sh*t to go through.

If my treatments don't work I am gonna keep shaving my head....this time keeping a nice tan and using a bick razor.

No Doctor is gonna hack me up! :freaked2:

That was horrible! Those poor guys getting their heads hacked to pieces!

Ive also heard that on about 1/3 of the cases, the transplanted flap does not have enough blood supply. Then it literally decays, leaving a flap of rotting flesh on your head you must have removed or face infection!
