So I have heard of this phenomenon but haven't found any mention of it on the internet. Usually a healthy scalp full of hair has a grey-ish color indicating perfect health (according to my observations). However you'll see that as you start to recede, the grey color begins to fade away and your scalp takes the color of your normal skin (unless you're very pale and both the colors are same for you). So my question is, is this concept true? For when I lift the hair at the back of my head, I see only skin-colored scalp which is worrying me as I might not be able to go for a transplant when I save enough money if this hair goes away too.
