Ok guys....it's getting really hot where I'm living and the foam is coming out as liquid now. So in response, I have changed the method I apply it....

I put the liquid in the rogaine foam cap and use a dropper to put it all over my scalp. Do you guys think this would work just as well? I just need some opinions.

Here are my tips for keeping Rogaine foam foamy:

1) Shake can
2) Place can under running cold water, then keep tap running and:
3) Put can in the sink plug hole so that it acts like a plug
4) Fill sink to a level halfway up the can
5) Place fingers in the cold water for a few seconds
6) Remove can from plug hole and shake can
7) Dry can and fingers on towel quickly
8) Apply thick, foamy Rogaine foam

Here are my tips for stopping foam messing up your hair:

1) Apply foam in dabs on scalp
2) Lightly drum fingers on the scalp where foam has been applied - it will get to the skin faster and more efficiently this way
3) Wait 2 mins for foam to dry
4) Move hand lightly through the entire scalp - this will give your hair more volume
5 Comb/style hair

Put the foam in fridge for 1-2 minutes before application, then spray foam directly onto scalp and massage.

How long does it take you for one app if you're going through all these steps!
I think the fridge suggestion was the best. I used to just spray some on my hand and apply it, melted or not. Now I just spray it halfway up the cap, stick a finger in, roll it around, and pat it on the back of my head with the residue in the receding part of the front, whether the foam is melted or not.

Isn't it correct that regardless of whether the foam is melted, you're still getting the benefit of the minoxidil even if it's now liquid?
