Foods to Eat

I'm thinking about adding foods in my regimen that may slow down male pattern baldness. I know green tea may help so i drink that.

Any other suggestions?? Thanks

getting more SOY in your diet (isoflavenoids) may help some... no studies to show hair growth, but the ingredients may be helpful for some people. It is at least as reasonable addition as green tea.

well, I like soy milk (vanilla, chocolate) better than regular milk, so that is an easy substitution... Tofu is also made from soy, but that is a little harder to work into a regular diet.

Tofu is easy to work into a diet. Just substitute it for chicken in any sautee or even in buritos. I even sautee some tofu , broccoli, onions, zuchini and toss it into pasta with fresh basil pesto. When I was dieting in the past I used to pulverize extra firm tofu and use that instead of rice for stir frys.

My suggesting would be go veg, & eat soy to substitute protein. That’s what I am trying to do now. In India, its really difficult to find a bold guy, because most of them are vegetarian or eat very less animal products.

I guess my problem is that the soy i find has a very soft bland curd consistency with no flavor... I tried to substitute it for chicken, but its just not chicken : ) Maybe it was the wrong texture, and I just need to look for "extra firm" or "posessing flavor" varieties. Ill try again... I'd like to quit red meats and soy might help...

Personally, I can't disagree more. I suggest eating a nice, juicy cut of beef at least once a week. And, I don't mean some slivers in a stir fry or a fast food burger, that crap is sh*t beef. I am talking about a serious steak, broiled, grilled, or barbecued up! Pair with a baked potato (remember to EAT THE SKIN of the potato!), a raw carrot, and a half avocado topped with olive oil, sea salt, and cracked black pepper. Damn good food.

Beef is a perfect and complete source of protein for humans, second only to eggs.

Another weekly dish on my menu is salmon. At my house, Friday night is fish night. The local Trader Joes grocery store has kickass King Salmon from the Canadian Maritimes, flash frozen on the ship after being caught. Great sh*t considering it was frozen! Lay it in a baking dish, splash with lemon juice, sprinkle with dried dill weed, and put it in a 450F oven for 15 minutes. I serve it with brown rice that I cook with chicken broth and a few teaspoons of curry. One of the best meals you could ever have!

Whats TOFU because i read in mens health that this stops male pattern baldness, like how finasteride does. But do you really believe it!!??
