If you think minoxidil did it, try to use minoxidil ONLY on yourself for a year or so. No man with real male pattern baldness has saved his hair with only minoxidil, there are reasons why all sucess stories on minoxidil die out.

Many doctors prescribing finasteride recommend using only finasteride, without minoxidil, as minoxidil is confusing ppl into thinking their regrowth came from it when in fact that almost never happen. One of my bro used finasteride, me and the other bro minoxidil, our older bro maintained a little on top even after age 40, the minoxidil one had completely bald crown long before age 30. For me minoxidil, branded rogaine, had absolutely no effect at all, no slowing, no regrowth. This fake medicine is only giving ppl false hope, which is why its now sold only in health-stores here and not in pharmacies. Well, some pharmacies have it but placed together with other products in the same genre, like anti wrinkle creams and douche.

i know this fact horunger , but in my case i was on propecia for 16 month alone , and my hairline kept receding, so i added minoxidil , and it is even worse . I know that duta would help me , but damn 90 % of dht inhibition is harsh . given the fact that my dht is 0.11 ( range 0.33-1.20).

How do you know that more inhibition is more dangerous? Valium is much more efficient than Zoloft, still valium has virtually no side effects and zoloft has a loooong list of horrible side effects. More effect is not always equal to more danger, better effect is certain, more sides are not. Mayb you are a bad responder to both finn and dutt but since you failed with finn the added inhibition of dutt could be exactly what you need. But for sure you dont need minoxidil, its no more effective on hair than eating ram testicles from Iceland.

Edit: I honestly think the fear of dutt around this forum is unreasonable but i admit i used to think it was too strong also, and also the fact it wasnt approved for hairloss treatment. Now however Finn has been pulled out too from many countries and deemed unsafe. Sweden was first, Norway followed shortly after, how safe is finn then? Dutt was never approved for hairloss but Finn was pulled, then i say Finn sound more scary.
