For those who stopped or decreased finasteride

Did your supposed chest fat and puffy nipples decrease or did they remain the same? I cut my 1mg down to .33 and my nipples are still puffy as hell and my chest doesnt look like chest fat, but gynoish...i have a feeling its gyno...i will post pics soon. So can any of you answer my wonderful question on tits and nipples?

you probably have a mild form of gyno.. and NO it will not go away... maybe if you try nolvadex and stop propecia/(or as you've already done lower the dose), it can help.. but it depends on how much gyno you have already got..

if i have to be honest i think it will NEVER go away, unless you get an operation.. and thats expensive!

if first you got the gyno, theres nothing to do... only the knife..

Are you sure finasteride is the cause? Maybe you have excess weight a little bit, some fat in chest tissue.

My nipples are puffy a little too, but I had them before I started to take finasteride.

i did go from 185 to 210 while taking finasteride...6'2''. But that is due to lack of exercise and bad food and being on finasteride. I was sittin at 210 for awhile then all of a sudden i noticed that my chest was gynoish. But i am back on eating right and i have lost 10 lbs and my chest still looks gynoish Right when I started finasteride...my nipples became puffy. If i actually pinch my nipples then the nipples look normal and my chest really doesnt look like gyno...its only when it is puffy...but i am sure there some extra fat there. I may have to hit up the steroid forums and see how to exactly take nolva or whatever. You try fixin one thing and another gets fu!k!d!

I have noticed nothing since going from 1mg to 0.25mg - except my hair looks worse.

I dont have any gyno or nipple issues, sex drive has been constant. Im really lean though ( 6'1", 183, <10% BF ) because I work out 6 days a week and my diet is spot on.

I wish I knew this before I started finasteride. I just stopped finasteride few weeks ago. I feel an increase in my breasts size and I did gain weight over all.

Would excersize get rid of it? how about weight loss pills? thanks

i noticed the slight puffy nipple effect from finasteride, so that made me stop, aswell as other reasons.

For me, the puffiness subsided. I was only on the stuff for about 7 months.

I don't know how long it took to subside but it did.


A year later i started taking .25 of finasteride and began to develop same side effects again, starting with the substantial increase in acne, which i could not stand. So i stopped again and won't be taking it again, not worth the ridiculousness.


Anyway, that's how it was for me, different for everyone.

how do u know if u have puffy chest or not exactly..? if u echk your estroegn blood levels will that tell if u have gyno?
