Found Something On Follica's Website

Okay I'm not sure if this means anything or not, but I want to know what you guys make of this. There has been discussion of what sort of topical Follica was going to use with their wounding device... if it was going to be minoxidil or something like minoxidil, blah blah blah. Anyway from what I just noticed on a picture on their site, I'm very confident it won't be minoxidil. They refer to the topical as "rain pods" and in another picture I noticed something that talked about the "RAIN system." So I'm guessing that RAIN is an acronym for the topical formula they are using... idk what do you guys think? I posted the pictures below.

Well I sure hope it's more than just minoxidil. Is wounding supposed to be a daily thing though? Because minoxidil sure is.

When they say RAIN, I think they literrally mean rain, it even says so "showers down". So basically looks like some applicator that applies a liquid in droplets. It could very much be minoxidil, just packaged up in some expensive pods, kind of like Loreal stemox vs Garnier stemox. I would n't get too hopeful that they have some revolutionary new growth stimulant.

No, at least not the dermabrasion. This will be done in office and requires local anesthesia.

Yeah, on this picture it looks like there are two topicals used on certain days:

However, this approach with the smartphone application, the fency product package, the "clean and better routine" and the RAIN system makes more sceptical than anything else. Feels like as if they are going to try to sell old, proven treatments (minoxidil), freshly wrapped wiht some additional stuff you don't really need just to be able to chrage you more. Expect for the dermabrasion part, of course

But just some speculation... We will see, fingers crossed I'm wrong.

That picture may just be a mock up and not actually a representation of how often u apply the topical, but if it was minoxidil wouldn't it have to be used everyday ? Thursday is clearly a skip day in the pic lol.

LOL
I have visions of some kind of weird Keurig coffee machine/over head shower thing with pods of hair growth formula.

sorry off topic but struck me funny.

Okay so people on here say this will be here in two years. They have been saying this for almost a year now. So does this mean its now a year amd a half or is two years the new "five" years. Most of you prob know what I am referring to.

Everything on the website is a mock up. Cleary you don't tell your communication agency how your treatment works.
Everything that looks "real" is V-ray and Photoshop. Don't read too much into it. ;)

As their website was an empty wordpress template before pretty much, the fact that they suddenly decided to hire a pr agency and rearrange their communication from investors to consumers is a good sign.
Also that they show some specific devices means that they probably don't expect to go back to the drawing board this time.

Maybe you guys/girls can answer some of my questions:
Are they currently in an fda tries and if so how come i do noy see it advertised lose setipiprant?
Cotsarelis was recently interviewed and I walked away with the impression they are still far from a legit treatment and he didnt even mention follica which surprises me because if I had a nice product in the works I would want people to start knowing about it, especially if it can help people plan appropriately meaning transplant or not.

Follica isn't doing trials on Setipiprant. Kythera is.

And by the way if I had a dollar for every time i read the word minoxidil when reading about their invention I would be rich. Just google Methods for treating baldness and promoting hair growth
EP 2648676 A1 (text from WO2012078649A1)

You will see it there.
