From bald to curly locks, system or transplant?

Noah Shabib '40' has been rocking a shaved head for a while now:

But in a recent marketing promotion, he's got reasonably full, curly hair. What do you think?

I googled around a bit, and generally people seem to think he's got a transplant, although I saw one commenter who thought it was a 'weave'. I'm still unsure. I guess it's not uncommon to go from a Norwood 4 to having full hair again?

Drake went from a buzz cut to dreads in just 2 months… probably a weave.

Ah, I just grabbed the first picture I found, but in case it's not clear, I was talking about the guy on the left.

Drake's new cornrows are weird though. Somehow I think it's not a weave, but he sure grew it out quickly.

There was an article in the newspaper about baldness being a thing of the past in 100 years...but it was just based on the increase in men getting hair transplants.

He’s rocking a rats nest. Looks so thin, I couldn’t do it.

Shaved people always look balder than they are. His hair looks weird af but he has grey hairs and there is many camera closeups and cant notice any hair system at all, the colour is perfectly matched with greying hairs.

He has very deep norwood temples still, looks like meds + transplant on midscalp + smart choice of curly long hair to hide it, probably tons of fiber and volume products too

interesting. I didn't post a bunch of pics, but he would also have to have a transplant in the crown area as well, to pull off this new look. lots of work for this result.
