since october I have been using xandrox 15 and noticed quite a good regrowth in my hairline. however, due to the shutdown of Dr. Lee, I was forced to look at other options. I started rogaine foam with revivogen and s5 cream since early march.

i have seen my gains with xandrox 15 disappear. since i started rogaine foam, i noticed a decent amount of shedding with my hair that i haven't experience before. my hair is about 3 to 5 inches long so I dont really know if the foam is absorbing into my scalp. (other than the receding hairline and temples, i have decent thick hair.)

I dont know if foam would be right for me because of the length of my hair and also because of the lower percentage of minoxidil from xandrox 15. my hair shedding continues and i dont know if this is because of the foam being absorbed and being effective or because of lack of treatment getting into my scalp, hence progressing my male pattern baldness.

I should add that i didnt experience any hair shedding with xandrox 15.

any help is appreciated

Dr. Lee isn't the only one that makes 15%. He might be the one that the people on these boards trust the most, but he's gone now, so you might give another 15% product a try. There are lots of options on Amazon

I've only used the foam in the past, but I'm looking to up it to 15% and see what I can do. I'll probably go with the Perfect Image or PHP version of the 15%/5% Azelaic Acid.

i already tried that but their solution gives me a rapid heartbeat thats why I considered rogaine foam.

I dont know if the shedding is because the foam is actually working or because my male pattern baldness is progressing because i have decent thick long hair. so i dont know if the foam is getting absorbed into my scalp.

plus my hairline is way thinner after a month and a half on rogaine foam.
