Man, the depression from hair loss is becoming unbearable for me =( Ive been attempting to regrow the hairline I had when I was 27 years old which was 4 years ago with vitamins, minerals, and oils and even though its only been 2 months in, I HAVENT SEEN ANY NEW SPECK OF HAIR APPEARING ! Man everytime I look in the mirror it makes me extremely sad because I get flash backs of the past of when I was 27 years old and full of hair. Every time I walk pass a metal object and see my big forehead I remember how my forehead used to be so thick and full of volume when I was 27 =(. Im not going to quit just yet, Im still somewhat hopeful so Im going to keep trying the same regimen for a year and if I dont see any new hair growing on my hairline then I will resort to the BIG 3 as my end all be all solution.

My hair in May 2014 when I 1st posted here & when I began my regimen - a.jpgUntitled-3.jpgUntitled-4.jpgUntitled-6.jpg

This is my hair in June 2014

You will get several negative comments from this post, but yes, regrowing hairline is the most difficult thing to do :(

DAMN !

this is some serious emergency room case that we have here !

jump on finasteride + minoxidil , take one bottle a day , and maybe you could save the remaining hair that you have.

just kidding , you make tom cruise & his hollywood mates look like jokes with such hair....

maybe you really have hairloss , but we just don't see it

Fred, please understand what people are trying to say before you comment. OP asked this because he thinks that his hairline has receded compared to what it was before. Despite his effort, he has not seen recovery in his hairline, which I think is a legitimate reason for him to post a question. However, I posted my comment b/c I thought people were going to put him down for not being Norwood 3 or above.

Stop being negative about everything. I bet your attitude affects how much hair you are losing everyday.

My friend take a picture of you raising your eyebrows and wrinkling your forehead, then I'm interested.

Let me put this in a much more fair perspective, I have BDD and I don't see anything but a NW1. Its impossible to go from a NW1 to a NW0. And most NW1s are never going to see these treatments do anything but maintain. Only people with major loss can see major growth. You have little to no loss, you will see little to no regrowth. Its that simple.

For your type of hair loss the only thing that I can recommend is NOFAP. The Big 3 is a huge waste of time.

Do you know what I find disappointing and depressing? Threads like this, it's insulting. You're not seeing results because you have nothing to recover, jesus h christ...

I dunno if it's worse to have real hairloss or be someone who thinks they have hairloss to the point of depression or trying to kill themselves with oral minoxidil (like that overNW3 guy who has fantastic hair). Still can't tell if you're trolling or not with all these thread's you've started about your "hairloss":

- 'I have to quit social media. Its driving me INSANE. Seeing ppl I grew up with =('

- 'Saw a Beautiful Girl on YOUTUBE today. I know I cant get with her cuz of Hairline =('

- 'Do you guys DREAD going to family parties/reunion? Becuz of hair loss? I skipped one =('

... and it goes on and on. Meanwhile you're sitting on a top .1% hairline and density for a guy your age anywhere, never mind on a ****ing male pattern baldness specific forum. This is the 17th topic you've opened since May about your so called hairloss.

You seem to have Body Dismorphic Disorder because your hair, to me at least, looks like a Norwood 1 at the worst.

I apologize for pissing people off about my hair but the the thing is, I KNOW I DONT HAVE BDD. My hairline used to look like that guy from One Direction, Zayn Malik and the volume used to be as thick as Selena Gomez's hair. I know I dont have BDD. Its just that I want my old hairline back so bad and its been killing me inside and I have been experiencing thinning hair like crazy lately but people are telling me Im noticing it because of my long hair. The thing is, when I was in my early 20s my hair was this long and I never saw hair fall out in the shower or when I brushed it with my hand. I mean my hair was so thick back then. I know we cant always keep our juvenile hairline, but if I stop drinking soft drinks and with the hair regimen Im on now, do you think I could see improvements with my hair? I drink atleast 1 can of Pepsi a day.

My hair used to be so full and thick like this girl's and guy's hair -

OP, you're absolutely ridiculous. You should be happy that you still have a better hairline and hair than 95% of people your age. You're not 15 anymore. Even people without Androgenetic Alopecia Will surely lose some of their density as they grow older.

This thread is a joke and quite frankly offensive to people with legitimate hair loss

If you notice thinning go to a dermatologist and get a diagnose. If you have male pattern baldness, get on the big 3. If not, which is more than likely, go live your life. I understand worrying about your hair if you feel it's thinner, but to say the depression is getting you when you have THIS much hair, at age over 30, is downright offensive and actually mean. Cause to everyone else here, you have a full head of hair. Have you seen the pictures other people post? How would you feel if that was you? Those goys (and girls) would KILL for your hair. Some guys don't even make it to 20 with half as much hair as you do, I'm a 22 year old girl and have so little hair left, I would kill for your hair. You are over 30, male and has hair enough to make most guys your age jealous. Don't be such a brat!

I have defended guys in the initial stages of hair loss many times. But this guy is beyond ridiculous. The fact that he is 30 and he wants the hair of a girl in her early 20's is just plain weird. There is something wrong with this guy.

it's in the human nature , people always want more than what they already have , a human being cannot settle for what it possesses.

when you see people worse looking than you are , you pity them and tell yourself that you aren't so bad after all.

but on the other hand , when you see someone like a Hollywood superstar that has minor defaults (strictly talking about the appearance) , you'll look yourself as garbage.

stop thinking about people and what they might think of you , just be yourself and live according to your own mind and standards.

your hair looks amazing , and I am pretty sure that's everyone's opinion here.

so just leave it out and go relax / follow some self consciousness therapy.
