weak fluffy hair, major pain in the ***, no regrowth on temples at all, ultimate time wasting cosmetic I'll ever get to use.. 4 years on, f*** it, I gave up last night.. I'll keep taking Finasteride for my whole life probably, just to maintain my nw2 (I'm 25 now) and I've planned to get a hair transplant by Rahal in a few years, plus Tsuji and Replicel will hit quite soon so..my hope is that I'll be NW1 again in a few years

there's just nothing to lose or to gain in terms of density, it's just time consuming and money wasting (to me)

Very few people grow cosmetically significant hair on MX.
And nobody in the world has ever grown back a full head of hair on it.

What it does do is in combination with finasteride it will either stop your hairloss, or slow it down significantly

Flopxidil is not a desirable medication if you're expecting to regrow a vast amount of hair... There are better options out there, but you have to be willing to take risks.

Minoxidil alone will never stop your hairloss. Keep in mind that we are loosing our hairs while we are in our 20s so its pretty bad ending. Propecia is the only hope out there. Offcourse a hair transplant is a great option but how many transplants will we need and will we have the donor supply for it?? I choose propecia every fu**ing time

I know this feeling. I been using it almost a year now. Some days I feel like its working and other days I feel like its done nothing at all. I find it hard to shake the notion that its not simply expensive snake oil. I will be ditching it after 4 years if I am still unsure it does anything

What do you want when you're on Minoxidil? Great hair, right? If it's destiny u're going to keep your hair on Propecia alone, if you lose it even on Propecia you should punish your parents for bringing you to the world (I'm joking), Minoxidil won't do the trick in any case, it's not like if you're on it you'll have good hair otherwise you won't, plus it won't give you the type of hair you want anyhow, having a good head of hair it's written in your genetics and, unless you're cursed, you'll be fine on Propecia.

*this is just my personal experience, I'm not a doctor, plus I'm saying "you" because that's what I've been telling myself when I quit, that "you" is myself, not y'all

Works for some, doesn't for others. My question is why did you continue using it for four years? Surely after 1 year it would be been an obvious indication that it wasn't going to work for you.

Finasteride is to address the underlying cause of hair loss; minoxidil is to accelerate regrowth. Five minutes research would make that obvious.

Lol Mx takes all of 1 minute per day to apply at like $10/month...

Yes but if you are dating someone it is kind of obvious to avoid them noticing what you are doing which makes you look insecure and emphasises your hair issues to them. Plus $10 a month is not a trivial expense if you are throwing it on something which does absolutely nothing. I find finasteride much more discrete and cheaper. Not as much of a hassle to continue with
