Hi all,
I started Finpecia 1,5 months ago. As I'm not experiencing any side effects and have never taken the original Propecia I'm not sure if my Finasteride is legit. Another reason is that I got stripes, 15 tabs each, which I have never seen here.
It's the same as here: alldaychemist.com/finpecia.html

Can anybody here confirm that it is legit?

Thanks for your help

Alldaychemist are legit. I've been using their Dutas for over two years and previously used their Fincar/Finpecia for over a year. The medications have worked amazingly well and regrew a lot of my hair. If I hadn't treated my hair loss, I'd be a diffuse NW4 by now like my father was at my age (he's now NW7), but instead I'm a thick NW1.5. There wasn't really any need for me to switch to dutasteride since the finasteride was working, but I switched regardless.

I have used generic Finasteride from TEVA Pharmaceuticals in Canada. I am from Toronto. Works well and was covered under drug plan.

I'm using Cipla's Fincar 5mg (from ADC), cutting them in halves and quarters with a pill cutter.
Based on the sexual sides I've had, they're definitely the real deal.

I'm seeing some promising new growth in the short time I've been taking them, but then I'm on a multi-med regimen (minoxidil, nizoral, spironolactone, finasteride and estradiol) that makes it impossible to tell if any one drug is doing more then the others.

Did you experience any heavy shedding when switched from finasteride to dutasteride? What dosage of dutasteride are you taking? Are you taking only dutasteride now, or both finasteride and dutasteride?

Apologies for the late reply. I haven't been on this site in a while. I didn't notice any shedding at all when I switched. I seemed to notice that my hair was harder to pull out when I started taking dutasteride. Sometimes I would run my fingers through my hair and test to see if hairs would come out when I pulled on it. When I was on finasteride, a few hairs would come out when I would do this, but on dutasteride, hairs would almost never come out when I did this (and still don't). When I made the switch, I remember feeling very sleepy for the first week or so of being on dutasteride. This was the only thing I noticed. I'm taking 0.5mg daily of dutasteride. Dutasteride is the only antiandrogen I'm taking. Are you taking finasteride? If so, are you thinking of switching to dutasteride too?

Sounds like you're a great reponder, I'm actually envious. Thanks for sharing your experience.
So did you just drop finasteride altogether and started taking dutasteride everyday?
I'm currently on prescribed propecia for 6 months, and if I switched to Dutas from ADC I would actually save money. The thing is that I'm not doing well at all on finasteride so I'm not sure if dutasteride will do me any good or only make it worse. My hair keeps falling at the slightest touch, I don't even need to tug it.

So you've been using Dr. Reddy's Dutas from ADC for 2 years and have been maintining your hair all this time and you didn't even recede or experience a shed after you switched?

I already switched. I recently noticed a lot of regrowth, but I lost a lot of hair last year when I made the switch due to Telogen Effluvium, so I don't know if these are hairs that lost last year growing back, or these are the new hairs. Compared to finasteride, does dutasteride give you better result?
