Generic Minoxidil is AWFUL, compared with Dr. Lee's formula

Well, I was to lazy to reorder Dr.Lee's formula, so I went to Walgreens, and picked up the generic minoxidil. This stuff SUCKS ***..


Using Lee's formula, I apply it, rub it in slighty, style, and my hair is good to go, before I exit the door...

With this garbage, it takes 3-4x longer to dry, and when it does, it still looks like I dumped my head in Mcdonalds left over french fry grease... NASTY..

This stuff will be used for backup only.. I have prompty reordered Dr.Lee's minoxidil... It was the same price BTW...

Much love for Dr. Lee... I will never use another form of minoxidil again... I don't know if rogaine is this bad, or if other generic versions are this bad, or if maybe it's just me...

have you always used his standard Minoxidil formula or the have you tried the Xandrox?

Ive been using generic minoxidil for 8 months and yes it sucks *** but dont want to stop it, thanks for the info maybe I will try ordering some of dr lee's minoxidil.com right?

generic minoxidil will work better than dr. lee's because it was designed to be a slower, more continuous release to the scalp via ppg. Lee's is a good product, but if it is completely absorbed in 5minutes, its harder for it to exert its therapeutic effect. The Rogaine formula was designed a certain way for a reason.

Of course Lee's "Xandrox" with the azelaic might be better, but thats debateable

I'm not so sure about that. Dr. Lee uses Vitaman E, as opposed to all that PPG gunk.. he says it is just as good for penetrating, as PPG...

I agree. This is why I haven't tried it yet. I am very concerned about this. One would think Rogaine would have an "Irritation free formula" and charge a massive premium for it if it they new it worked good enough. All they would have to do is print that it is a non FDA approved version or something like that.
